A great song service can really enhance the worship setting, But…
• Most (all) are not professional singers.• Most do not know how to read music.• Most do not sing/learn/practice songs outside
a worship service.
HoweverGod wants our “best” worship
• He doesn’t care if we are professional singers; have the best acoustics, etc.
• He does care that we worship Him in truth and spirit. cp. Jn. 4:24
• He does care that we give Him our “first fruits” when worshipping Him. Prov. 3:9
Goal“Let us consider how to stimulate
one another to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24)
“…But be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:18–19)

Final Thoughts
Both song leaders and the congregation can provide
the “best” possible environment to sing praises to our God.
What are you doing (song leader or worshipper) to make it happen?
