Information on the school

The school is Gambetta. There are three floors.

On the first floor, there are mathematics, history/ Geography, and italian.

On the second floor , there are technology , physics , biology and Spanish.

On the third floor there are French , English , Latin and German .

On the ground floor there is a cafeteria , playground , music and administration .

There is a Gym .

Mrs PONTOIZEAU helps children, the principal is Mr MARIE and the vice principal is Mr

POUPINET . There are 425 children in the school.

In the European section , we have two hours more of English. It's fun ! It's every

wednesday moming from quarter past eight to five pas ten . There are twenty six

What is new at school ????

A new class:

In our school , there is a new class : ULIS (Unité Localisée

d'Inclusion Scolaire).

There are twelve pupils aged from 12 to 15 years old.

They have the same subjects (French, Physical Education,

History, ..) and they come with us in classes (for example

in physical education).

They have more difficulties to learn so they are in this class.

There are two persons to help them : a teacher (her name is

Mrs Estace) and Florence.

Later, they will come with us in class in different subjects.

Works: the school is changing.

We build a lift for handicaped people, and for people with a broken leg.

There is a passage for wheelchairs.

In the cafeteria there is the entrance for a lift.

It's good because before when we had broken leg it was dangerous to go to English class or

French class for example.

We need the lift for access to rooms because this year there are handicaped students.
