W e at the omas family have deep roots in the Maine tradition of craſtsmanship and innovation. Dale omas began working with steel in 1959 and for almost five decades gained extensive experience in steel fabrication and design. In 1982, Dale omas bought the steel fabrication business he worked for. With his four boys in mind Dale formed Dale A. omas & Sons, Inc. e company spent the next 15 years doing custom designed jobs of rugged steel farm equipment, as well as selling different types of portable bandsaws. Jon, having been brought up around the shop since it started, joined the business full time in 1997.
