    AHolyDayofObligation

    Masses:Thursday,Oct.31at6:30pm(Vigil)Friday,Nov.1at8:30am&6:30pm

OnAllSaintsDay,we celebrate the saints, which includes all who have entered into the heavenly kingdom; both the saints we know and publicly celebrate and those who have gained their sainthood without public recognition. This re-minds us that we are all called to be saints to get into Heaven. We celebrate this day the salvation of Christ that has been rewarded these saints and ask their intercession that we too may join them in their joyful salvation. AllSoulsDay Saturday,November2

Masses:8:30am&5:00pm AllSoulsDayis a day to honor and pray for all the dead who await entry into the heavenly kingdom, those who are in purgatory. We acknowledge that not all have fully embraced Christ in their lives and that God has provided another path to the heavenly kingdom. Though still separated from God, these souls have the joy of knowing that their ultimate destination is with God. We pray this day for God’s mercy upon these separated souls and a quicker end to their isolation as we pray for that same mercy to be afforded us. RememberingOurLovedOnes

Parishioners are invited to bring framed 3”x 5” photos of departed loved ones to be displayed around the Blessed Sacra-ment during the month of November. We have limited space to display the photos and request no photos larger than 3”x 5.” Please have them copied and resized at any local photo shop or pharmacy. Photos should include a name, address and contact phone number on the back of the frame so that they may be safely returned.
