A “Different” Book

It was written by God• 1 Peter 1:21 (NKJV)

It tells about Jesus• Genesis or “The Beginnings”—Tells

us why Jesus had to come (Gen. 3:15)

• The rest of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy tell of God’s preparation of a special people through with Jesus would be born.

It tells about Jesus• History, Prophets, Poetry—tell of God

spending thousands of years getting the world ready, “Jesus is Coming”

• The Gospels tell us the “Jesus has come”

• Acts through Revelation—Tell of “Jesus is coming again”

It tells us what we must do for Jesus to save us from sins.
