Howard Elias is the CEO of the Guardian Agency Wealth Advisory Group LLC, based in New York City. The agency was founded in 1929 and now has more than 70 associates and includes a branch in Albany, NY. Elias joined Guardian after graduating from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and in 29 years with the company has served as a financial representative, sales manager and general agent. He has won numerous Guardian and industry awards. Elias became a GAMA member in 1993, joined the board in 2008 and was named President in July 2013. He resides in Manhattan.
Juli McNeely, CFP®, CLU®, LUTCF is president of McNeely Financial Services, a 45-year-old com-pany founded by her father. She was elected president of NAIFA in September 2014, after serving in leadership roles at the national, state and local levels. She is a qualifying member of MDRT and a member of Women in Financial Services. In 2011, McNeely was the recipient of the NAIFA Wisconsin A. Jack Nussbaum Distinguished Service Award. In 2013, she was named one of the "Top 20 Women You Need to Know" in insurance by LifeHealthPro. McNeely earned a bachelor of science degree from Northwestern College. Her practice specializes in the areas of retirement planning, education funding, business continuity planning and estate planning.
Roger A. Seim, MSFS, CLU®, ChFC® of Maple Grove, MN is an Advanced Services Specialist with MassMutual Financial Group. He has served in various roles with MassMutual and prior to that with the Lutheran Brotherhood. He received his bachelors degree from Newbury College in South Carolina. Mr. Seim has been a Million Dollar Round Table member since 1981 and currently serves as President of the MDRT Foundation. His personal philosophy for his business is to combine technical knowledge and creativity with personal integrity to help clients build and preserve financial dignity.
Alex Sheen is the founder of because I said I would, a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through the importance of a promise. Sparked by the loss of his father, Alex and his organization send “promise cards” to anyone anywhere in the world at no cost. Alex is someone who truly honors commitment. He once walked over 240 miles across the entire state of Ohio in 10 days to fulfill a promise. In less than two years, because I said I would has sent over 250,000 promise cards to over 82 different countries. The promises written on these cards have made headlines around the world. His charitable projects and awareness campaigns have been featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer, CNN, The Today Show, NPR, The Los Angeles Times and many other programs.
Ed Slott, CPA, was named “The Best” source for IRA advice by the Wall Street Journal and called “America’s IRA Expert” by Mutual Funds Magazine. He is a widely recognized professional speaker and has created several nationally-aired public television specials including the most recent “Ed Slott’s Retirement Rescue! (2013).” Slott has also the created The IRA Leadership Program™ and Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group™, which were developed specifically to help financial institutions and advi-sors, financial advisor firms and insurance companies become recognized leaders in the IRA market-place. He has published numerous books and is the author of a monthly IRA newsletter. He is a past Chairman of the New York State Society of CPAs Estate Planning Committee and editor of the IRA planning section of the CPA Journal, and a former board member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City.

In 2010, she was promoted to her current position to represent the Variable Annuity product line in the D.C. area.
