ABOUT THE Training Course “EYWESIP - Empowering Youth Workers for Entrepreneurship under Social Inclusion Perspective” - KA1 Erasmus+ (Project Code 2017-3-PT02-KA105-004711) The International Training Course "EIWESIP -Empowering Youth Workers for Entrepreneurship under Social Inclusion Perspective" was organized and hosted by Portuguese Coordinator, the Municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha. This Report illustrates the learning experience realized by our italian team during the ERASMUS+ Training Course KA1 “EIWESIP”, hosted in Portugal, in Albergaria-a-Velha from 14 to 18 May 2018. The Training course involved 36 participants from 6 different European countries: Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria and Slovenia. The Training Course "EYWESIP" was focused on reflection and analysis about the theme Social Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation and Social Inclusion in order to promote the local development and towards of integration. During the Training course all participants were involved in workshops, debates, games in order to reflect about the importance of the work shared, team building and social wellness. This mobility experience offered the opportunity to acquire new skills, approaches and methods about the main theme of the Training and to share with other colleagues new project ideas in a multicultural context. The Main Goal of the Training Course “EYWESIP” was aimed to: Empower youth workers with competences and tools that allows them to be agents of social and professional change.

Specific objective of the training were 1. Promotion of social inclusion and diversity.

- Promotion of empowerment for active participation in society, citizenship and youth; - Promoting intercultural dialogue; - Raising awareness about the equality and fairness of professional and social opportunities; - Promotion and awareness of inequalities in social, educational and professional contexts; - Promoting the development of the international dimension of organizations and creating initiatives for the training and employability of young people;

Promoting the adoption of entrepreneurial behaviours. - Promotion of creativity, critical thinking and innovation; - Promoting entrepreneurship; - Promoting the educational and professional development; - Development of attitudes, knowledge and personal, social and entrepreneurial skills; - Development of new habits and ways of life that facilitate empowerment for insertion in the labour market

During the training course all participants worked together to know each other, their own Countries, national languages, traditions and cultures, and to share their own experiences. Participants collaborated during the workshops and the work groups planned and gave their contributes in order to plan and present their project ideas. All topics presented during the training course were approached through non formal education methodology with creative, experiential methods, including icebreaking, team building, reflections, debates, guided discussions, simulations, working group, study visit, team work, presentations, evaluation activities, etc. During the Training was organized an intercultural evening during which each national group offered some typical foods, sweets, biscuits and beverage to taste and told their traditions or curiosity. During the night we saw an exhibition of folkloristic group with typical dresses of the hosting Portuguese city. During the week was organized a game in the city in order to discover different active realities of the city and different projects of social

innovation and social inclusion realized (Archive, Library, Municipality, CineTheatre, Hostel, Incubator). Furthermore during the training were: presented different European projects realized by the Municipality and best practices in order to promote local employment, social inclusion, youth entrepreneurship and social integration of people with disabilities and organized some study visits for example in the Municipality, Casa Municipal Juventude, Local street market, to discover and see the city.

All participants gave their contribution in order to create a good and positive team, they spent their time to analyse the focus of the project, create new ideas, discovering their self and different cultures and making new friendships. The Training Course “EYWSIP”, offered to the participants from different European Countries the opportunity to: - acquire the knowledge about the Erasmus+ Program, and about the European projects realized by the Municipality Albergaraia-a-Velha; - reflect and know the different aspects of social innovation, social entrepreneurship and how promote social integration, inclusion and development; - promote the intercultural dialogue in an European dimension, - improve their communicational and relational skills, their ability to work in international team and their language skills, - discover new city (Albergaria-a-Velha) and the Portuguese culture, traditions, foods. - to know the culture of other Countries, national traditions and national languages. We thank the host organization Municipality Albergaraia-a-Velha, the Trainers Ana, Carlos and the logistic responsible Sandra, Rosa, Nuno, the portuguese participants Sandra and Mariana and all the participants for their active participation and their contributes.

Memory of Italian Participants

“ll vero viaggio di scoperta non consiste nel cercare nuove terre, ma nell’avere nuovi occhi" – “The real voyage of discovery does not consist in seeking new lands, but in having new eyes” Marcel Proust This sentence represents a summary of my experience during the training course "EIWESIP" in Albergaria-a-velha. Until today each experience Erasmus+ that I took part is been important and leave me something to see and understand better my life and my work. This training course offered me the possibility to meet interesting people and to discover interesting projects and best practises focused on social innovation and social entrepreneurship promoted by the Municipality Albergaria-a-Velha. During the work days I had the opportunity to discover new games and methods and some practical activities in order to stimulate the active participation and the creative process of all participants. For me this experience was very positive, I met very nice people, I collected new contacts to create new partnership for future collaborations, I shared my ideas and my thinking with people from different countries. This experience offered me the opportunity to increase interpersonal and social competences, emotional skills, cultural awareness and

self-expression. In my opinion the Trainers, Ana and Carlos and all Portuguese team Sandra, Rosa, Nuno, Mariana and Sandra were perfect! The daily planning was interesting, equilibrated among workshops, debates, brainstorming, working groups, simulations and study visits. I appreciated in particular the working group activities, the pitch implementation, because these methods gave us the opportunity to express ourselves and our ideas, sharing and negotiating our opinions and our positions and understand each other. And the game in the city was very interesting in order to know some active realities in Albergaria (Municipality, CineTheatre, Library, Archive).

Finally thanks to this international training course I had the opportunity to know and discover beautiful cities Albergaria-a-Velha, Aveiro and Porto, with their history, tradition and culture, typical markets and foods. Finally I would to say thank you to Portuguese team for the efforts, energy and availability. I hope that will be other opportunities to collaborate together and see you again J. The activities carried out have been carried out with care and minuteness. I had some doubts about how to do it but in the end the objectives were achieved. I really enjoyed the city tour by bike, social activities and the presentation of group work. I practiced my basic English and learnt to launch myself in conversations without fear of making mistakes. I came to know with cultures unknown to me like the Bulgarian, for example, thanks to my roommate and the other guys in the group. I have close friends with almost all the participants of the training course despite the different ages we have been able to create a fairly cohesive group. My best memory is the final dinner with the mayor and his entourage and the delivery of Youthpass Marta ---

The activities that I most appreciated were those of Brainstorming of socialization with the participants of the other groups. I learned cultures and traditions from other countries and have expanded my network of knowledge My most beautiful memory is linked to the time of arrival in Albergaria-a-velha: the moment during which the presentation began, each participant in the training course Alessandra ---

I believe that the activities carried out have broadened my wealth of experience, very interesting is the socialization activities with different cultures and countries that the technical skills taken within the training course. The training course has certainly provided me with strong linguistic, communicative and social skills regarding contact with different cultures. Furthermore, it was very important for me to deal with a topic similar to my studies such as youth entrepreneurship. In Albergaria-a-Velha I have established good friendships that I will certainly carry with me over time. My most beautiful memory is the intercultural dinner where for the first time during the project I came into close contact with different cultures and ways of thinking. Andrea
