As an eyewitness to the love and power displayed in the miracles of Jesus , John gives us an up-close and personal look at Christ's identity. He shows us that Jesus, though fully God, came in the flesh to distinctly and accurately reveal God, and that Christ is the source of eternal life to all who believe in him. Author of the Gospel of John John, the son of Zebedee, is the author of this Gospel. He and his brother James are called the "Sons of Thunder," most likely for their lively, zealous personalities. Of the 12 disciples, John, James, and Peter formed the inner circle, chosen by Jesus to become his closest companions. They had the exclusive privilege of witnessing and testifying about events in the life of Jesus that no others were invited to see. John was present at the resurrection of Jarius' daughter (Luke 8:51), the transfiguration of Jesus (Mark 9:2), and in Gethsemane (Mark 14:33). John is also the only recorded disciple to be present at the crucifixion of Jesus. John refers to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved." He writes with simplicity in the original Greek, which makes this Gospel a good book for new belivers. However, below the surface of John's writing are layers of rich and profound theology.

A brief introduction and the major theme in the Gospel Of John TheGospel of Johnis the fourth Gospel in theNew Testament.(The Biblie) This book was written to prove that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The major theme The predominant theme in the book of John is the revelation of God to man through his living illustrationJesus Christ, the Word made flesh. The opening verses beautifully describe Jesus as the Word. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.(John 1:14) He is God revealed to manthe expression of Godso that we might see him and believe. Jesus himself states this, when a disciple asks Him to reveal them the God Father :Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? (John, chapter 14,verse 9) The predominant accent falls on Christ,on who He is and what He represents for humanity. He states: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:21) The message is clear,Jesus has come into the world to enlight it,to save it,to lead it to the light,to the eternal Father. Jesus life give us and insight of what purity means. He had lived his life by the high standards of the Holly Father ,according with his goodly wish.By the end of his life,no one was able to proof the Jesus Christ has sinned,Pontius himself declaring that he finds him innocent. Even though nobody could find guilt in him,he was condemned to death. But after three day he has risen! This is the major point from this Gospel and not only from this one but also from all the New Testament. The resurrection of Christ and his teachings opens a way to the people to achive God through Him.The key verse from this Gospel can be extracted from chapter 14,verse 6: Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ( John 14:6) The huge impact which Jesus Christ had over the world, not only in his age but also in our modern age leads millions of people to study his life and his teachings. He is recognized as well from the secular institutions, his existence being proved by the archaeology. His name is preached all over the world by Christians belivers. His deeds are narrated more than any other hero`s deeds . And the most important his words had the power to change people lives. This is the reason way we must take a deep look into the Gospel of John if we want to be acquainted with personality of Jesus. On the other hand this book contains a variety of statements and information aboutJesusnot contained in theSynoptic Gospels(Mark,Luke,Matthew). While John's content may be unique, he presents a different side of Jesus that is complimentary to the other three Gospels and helps provide its readers with a clearer understanding of his divinity and pre-existence.Besides this, there are some concepts presented only here(like the born again concept) Alongside the others Gospels and the letters of his disciples from New Testament, and finally all the bible books ,the Gospel of John is one of the most discussed, translated and beloved book from the world, especially in the Christian areas.
