Peeled is a fiction book. It takes place in a little town called Banesville. It is about Hidly Biddle’s life as a high school journalist at The Core. Her and her friends Darrell, Elizabeth ( Hidly’s cousin), Zack, Baker Polton, and Lev.

They have a high school news paper which is published throughout Banesville. Pen Piedmont, their enemy whom works for The Bee ( An opposing news paper) threatens to sue the school for false news so The Core gets canceled.

They believe that the town should know the truth of what is happening at the Ludlow’s house. ( The Ludlow’s house is haunted by a ghost supposedly.) So Hidly and her friends make an underground newspaper called The Peel.

They make the news paper anonymous so it won’t get canceled by Pen. They save the town from some mean builders who want to take the Ludlow house and put it in a haunted theme park . ( it will be located where homes are and all the crops will be destroyed.)

In the End….

They uncover the mystery and they get the Bee shut down. They reveal themselves to be the creators of the Peel. They finally get the respect they deserve.
