CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND TREATMENT Patients will receive chemotherapy in 2 ways:

1. Systemic infusion, which is the traditional way of receiving chemotherapy

2. Direct infusion with the proprietary Pressure-Enabled Drug Delivery™ (PEDD™) approach with SmartValve™ technology, to deliver targeted therapy directly into the tumor

Systemic infusion is an important part of treatment, but due to the tumor’s dense structure and poor blood flow, therapy doesn’t always get into the tumor.2 Direct infusion with the PEDD approach with SmartValve technology is designed to overcome those barriers.

THE CLINICAL RESEARCH TRIAL IS FOR A POWERFUL NEW WAY TO POTENTIALLY IMPROVE TREATMENT RESPONSE• Comprehensive — Combines the benefits of systemic and direct infusion

• Advanced — Leverages new PEDD approach with SmartValve technology to directly target the tumor

• Efficient — Designed to deliver more therapy into the tumor

This new approach aims to reduce the number and size of tumors and keep the disease stable for longer.1,3

FIGHT BACK WITH EVERYTHING YOU CAN Clinical research trials are a way for you to gain every advantage

If you or someone you know has advanced pancreatic cancer, consider participating in the following study: Pressure-Enabled Drug Delivery™ (PEDD™) by retrograde venous infusion (RVI) for advanced pancreatic carcinoma. This clinical research trial is designed to evaluate a new procedure for the administration of chemotherapy to patients with pancreatic cancer.

The PEDD approach with SmartValve technology delivers established cancer therapies at increased pressure, which is designed to overcome the infusion barriers associated with the dense structure and poor vasculature of pancreatic tumors.

If you have pancreatic cancer and surgery is not an option, consider a new clinical research trial that is delivering chemotherapy in a new way.

The clinical research trial combines the benefits of standard-of-care therapy with a targeted treatment approach to reach more tumor cells.1

HOW DO I QUALIFY?You may qualify if all of these apply to you*:

• 18 to 75 years of age

• Confirmed diagnosis of pancreatic cancer

• Pancreatic cancer is either metastatic (has moved to another part of the body) or cannot be surgically removed

• Good performance status

• Good functioning of kidneys, heart, liver, lungs, and arteries/veins, based on tests

• Must not be pregnant/breastfeeding

• Must not have uncontrolled diabetes

*A study representative will discuss other requirements.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN A CLINICAL RESEARCH TRIAL?Take advantage of an opportunity to get early-access pancreatic cancer treatments

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) offers several reasons to be a part of investigational research4:

• Advancement — clinical research trials are needed so we can understand if more beneficial care options are possible for people living with pancreatic cancer

• Approval — Successful trial data can lead to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review and possible approval for new treatments

• Outcomes — Clinical research trial may offer the best treatment options, and they’re the only way to gain early access to cutting-edge treatments and associated outcomes

If you qualify and decide to participate in the PEDD™ Study:

1. You gain access to cutting-edge technology and therapy

2. Hotel, airfare, and transportation may be provided for those who need assistance

PANCREATIC CANCER TREATMENT NEEDS TO IMPROVE: WILL YOU HELP BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS STUDY? Join in. Be part of the medical research needed to advance care.

The TriSalus™ team has a mission to create new technologies with one goal in mind: to make a meaningful difference in the outcomes and lives of cancer patients.

With a dedicated innovation team, we’re rapidly advancing to help both physicians and the people in their care.
