Plastics in our oceanThe lockdown is affecting millions of people around our world. As we know, we must stay in our homes during the lockdown to stop harmful germs spreading. Because we are staying at home the following is happening to wildlife around the world…

Birds are enjoying the sunshine without being scared off by the crowds of people.

The sea water is calmer because there are fewer boats zooming around. This means marine life is able to live peacefully.

Deer, goats and bore are

exploring towns because it is quiet and there are no cars or people rushing about.

Canal water has settled because there are no boats going up and down. This has encouraged fish and swans to return.

Dolphins have been seen coming closer to the shore as there are fewer boats rushing around.

Over the past few weeks, we have had some lovely warm weather. I am sure a lot of us would have gone down to the beach to enjoy the water and sand. At the end of most days, many beaches look like this…

Because of the lock down, our beaches are looking more like this now…
