Holy Communion. Sadly, theft occasionally occurs on church grounds.
A delicatessen I once visited in Califor-
nia has an ice-cream sundae on their
dessert menu called “Prenatal Silliness.”
They offer it to satisfy the cravings of
pregnant women. It is made with choco-
late ice cream, a choice of toppings,
and, yes, a pickle. I wonder if the
Blessed Mother had any pregnancy cravings as she traveled
with Joseph to Bethlehem for the census.
As we enter the third week of Advent and reflect on Mary in
her third trimester, you too might notice some cravings in your
spirit. Maybe you have an inner longing for silence, or prayer
in the Adoration chapel, or confession, or daily Mass, or the
rosary, or sacred music. Chances are your spirit is telling you
it’s hungry for something. The One within you knows what you
need. Listen to Him.
Join our Ministers of Hospitality Our Ministers of Hospitality greet, welcome, and usher parish-ioners and visitors during our weekend Masses. All are wel-

Vehicle Donation
URGENTLY Needed
The Knights of Columbus have learned of a St. Vincent de Paul parish family in desperate need of a working vehicle.
They are a one-parent family with 2 kids, who would be grateful for the donation of any make, model, or year
vehicle to get them to work and school.
You will receive a tax-deductible receipt from the Knights — please contact Paul Greninger at 763-425-7316
if you might have a car, van, or truck to donate.
