Leadership Cedar Park 2013 reaches halfway mark
The 2013 class of Leadership Cedar Park is just past the half-way mark in our journey, and the participants have gained valuable knowledge regarding local nonprof-its, municipal administration and economic development since open-ing with their retreat and initial re-treat.
The group has benefited from wider knowledge of volunteer op-portunities, the “business” of man-aging our city and the advantages of having a dynamic, proactive ap-proach to economic development for the city.
Our thanks to Nonprofit Day Chair Sherry McDonnell of Hill Country Community Ministries; Municipal Administration Day Chair and Assistant City Man-ager Josh Selleck; and Economic Development Day Chair and City Councilmen Don Tracy. These out-standing individuals, working with Leadership Cedar Park Curriculum Chair and Mayor Pro Tem Mitch Fuller, have given this year’s pro-gram depth and relevancy. The Ce-dar Park Community Foundation and the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce extend thanks for their participation.
Councilmen Don Tracy, Mayor Pro Tem Mitch Fuller, TEDC Executive Director Carlton Schwab and Cedar Park Economic Development Director Phil Brewer.
