    Basic Lessons for a Prophet

    Lesson 5: Vision of Hope

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope(Lamentation 3:21).

Hope is opposite of fear or despair. In a worldly

sense hope means a desire that something is ormay be the case. It also means a personal desire todo something or an expectation to receivesomething. Hope may contain a sense what onewants to happen can happen. That implies a chancethat a desired thing may happen which includesshades of uncertainty of the future associated witha desired outcome akin to wishful thinking. Fleshlyhope is normally fueled by self-interest, which isthe lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the

pride of life. For all that is in the world the lust ofthe flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world(John 2:16).

Without a vision or a picture of a desire or urge themind cannot identify the probability that maymotivate an expectation of fulfillment or hope. Thus, hope is filled with vision andexpectation for the future.

Divine hope is immeasurably higher than fleshly

hope as heaven is infinitely higher than the earth.Divine hope is visions of Gods promises with anexpectation of its fulfillment. Trust in the integrityof His word is the basis of hope. Hope is the basis ofthe believers worldview and faith, while trust is thebasis of hope. Godly hope is filled with divineexpectation for the future. Trust in God isconfidence in Him that He will fulfill His promises.Because of confidence in God we wait patiently and

with expectation for the fulfillment of His word.

True hope is a focused trust in the Lord as youpatiently and expectantly wait with endurance forthe fulfillment of His promises and will for your life.

Divine hope is not being developed outside of arelationship with the Lord. You can only relate toGod by way ofHis word through faith, hope andlove; the three doorways into the realm ofspirit, which is the three dimensions of a divinerelationship (1 Corinthians 13:13). But let us whoare of the day be sober, putting on the

breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmetthe hope of salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8,emphasis added). Hope is waiting on the Lord withexpectation for the fulfillment of the vision. It refersto a strong fastening to the Lord while perseveringwith patience as you constant behold the vision ofhope.

A constant focus on the Lord breeds hope. It is tofocus on His word, His promises, His person andeverything that involves the Fathers business. It isso important to meditate on the word of the Lord,to wait on the Lord, and to visualize the things ofthe Spirit in the imagination of your heart. This ishow new visions are being born and how existingvisions grow and being strengthened in the spirit ofyour mind. Everything in the Spirit is pulsating withlife and grows continually. Rousing the things of theSpirit is stimuli for spiritual growth. After receivingrevelation, pray until the vision is fulfilled. The timeperiod you wait to see the vision fulfilled is not

important but faithfulness in believing God pleasesHim. If you believe to live in the realm of Spiritwhere your vision of hope is, then see yourenvironment as the one world of Christ whereheaven and earth is one. Divisions only exist in thecarnal realm in the Spirit all things are one inChrist. These faith exercises are spiritualisometrics, which is the way of rapid growing in thevision of your hope and thus your spiritual life.

Stagnancy is the first sign of death. If you allow it,

    lukewarmness will set in.

If you have no divine vision of hope, you will perishalong the road. We are saved by hope. For we weresaved in this hope, but hope that is seen is nothope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?(Romans 8:24). You cannot observe the reward ofyour faith and hope with your bodily senses. You donot yet have attained bodily to the resurrectionfrom the dead or have been made perfect in yoursoul or see all things put under Christ, but you see

Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith. And in His name shall the gentiles hope (Matthew12:21, ASV).

True hope in the Lord is the developing of trust inHim. This comes about as a result of a constantfirm focus on His promises. The righteous trust inGod and rest their hope in Him and in fullassurance, patience and perseverance waits for thefulfillment of His promises, which is theimmutability of Gods will.

Hope is mostly expressed in the desire for temporalblessing and help. You still live in this body of fleshand you need the Lords provision on a daily basisin all areas of your life. Hope is as strong as yourown weaknesses and infirmities are before God.And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you,for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in myinfirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon

    me. For when I am weak, I am strong (2Corinthians 12:9, 10b).

Hope is also expressed in an eschatological future.Because God raised Jesus from the dead we asChristians have a hope of the resurrection of thedead. Paul defended the resurrection when he wascalled in question. But when Paul perceived thatone part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees,

    4/16

he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am

a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning thehope and resurrection of the dead I am beingjudged! (Acts 23:6). The Pharisees were veryorthodox in the Jewish faith concerning the world ofspirits, the resurrection of the dead, and the life ofthe world to come. The Sadducees deny theresurrection and the existence of angels and spirits. As for the souls of men, they denied their existencein a state of separation from the body, and anydifference between the soul of a man and of abeast.

Jesus resurrection from the dead is the promiseGod made to the believer that he will resurrectthem. Through faith, Paul pursued this vision ofhope. If, by any means, I may attain to theresurrection from the dead(Philippians 3:11). Paulsspirit was made alive to God through new birth buthis body was still dead to God because of sin. Paulhoped to attain bodily to the resurrection from deadand be made perfect in his soul that in this life hecould be made completely alive, in his soul andbody, to God just as His spirit is alive to Him. Thisperfection remains for some to enter in, in thisgeneration, just like Enoch and Elijah. She bore amale Child who was to rule all nations with a rod ofiron. And her Child was caught up to God and Histhrone (Revelation 12:5).

Some say Revelation 12 is a picture of the Lordsascension into heaven after God raised Him fromthe dead. Is it true? The book of Revelation was

written by Saint John about A.D. 95 from Patmos. This implies that it was long after Jesus ascensioninto heaven. The experience that John had was arevelation of the risen Jesus Christ. The first verseof the book indicates that the angel would showGods servant, John, what shortly must take place. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Himto show His servants things which mustshortly take place. And He sent and signified it

by His angel to His servant John (Revelation 1:1,

emphasis added). This was a prophecy to the sevenchurches in the first three chapters of Revelation ofthings that had to take place shortly after A.D. 95.

In the first verse of chapter four of the Book ofRevelation a voice told John that he must comethrough the open door in heaven that he may show John what must take place after the things heobserved about the seven churches. After thesethings I looked, and behold, a door standing openin heaven. And the first voice which I heard was

like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come uphere, and I will show you things which musttake place after this (Revelation 4:1, emphasisadded). It is clear from the above that the entireBook of Revelation is a revelation of Jesus Christafter A.D. 95. Prophecies are visions and revelationabout the future and are not reports on historicalevents.

Why is so much of Jesus earthly life evident in theBook of Revelation? The Scriptures tell us thathistory has a pattern of repeating itself. Thatwhich has been is what will be, that which isdone is what will be done, and there is nothing newunder the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9, emphasis added).Jesus first coming is in a way a shadow of things tocome; first the Son then the sons. That which is hasalready been, and what is to be has alreadybeen; and God requires an account of what is past(Ecclesiastes 3:15, emphasis added).

People that believe that Revelation 12 is about theLord Jesus Christs earthly life are not so far off. Thepast is sometimes a shadow of the future. Once in awhile it is a good thing to see future events in thelight of historical events. It makes understandingsometimes much easier. The lessons that historyteach us can be used in preparing us for the future.

Jesus first coming is a shadow of His second

coming. As He is so shall His body be. Here am Iand the children the Lord has given me! We arefor signs and wonders in Israel (Isaiah 8:18a,emphasis added).Jesus is our vision of hope. AsChrist matures in us so we mature in our sonship. To study the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, thepattern Son, is to interpret the prophecy concerningour lives. Why? He is the first among manybrethren and those to follow will have to followalong the same way. There are three major phasesin Jesus live that needed to be studied to follow the

course of events that will follow our lives. Theseare: His birth and maturing phase, secondly, Hisbaptism and Sonship and thirdly, His glorificationon the cross and ascension into heaven.

Jesus birth and maturing parallel the believersborn again experience and spiritual growth process.Over a 30-year period Jesus was maturing intosonship by occupying Himself with His Fathersbusiness according to the anointing that wasworking in Him. Did you not know that I must beabout My Fathers business? ... And Jesus increasedin wisdom and stature, and in favor with God andmen (Luke 2:49b, 52). The hope of our calling is toconform to the image of the Son of God. And Hegave some to be apostles, some prophets, someevangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for theequipping of the saints for the work of ministry, foredifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to theunity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Sonof God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the

stature of the fullness of Christ(Ephesians 4:11-13).This is the way God setup His church to bring fortha harvest of sons. Sonship is the full manifestationof the Son in the sons. What a glorious vision ofhope!

John baptized Jesus to fulfill all righteousness. Whenall righteousness was fulfilled in Jesus baptism theheavens were opened to Him, the Spirit of God

descended like a dove and remained upon Him and

the Father declared Him, His beloved Son. TheFather also gave testimony that He was wellpleased with His Son. God has destined everybeliever to conform to the image of His Son. Forwhom He foreknew, He also predestined to beconformed to the image of His Son, that He mightbe the firstborn among many brethren (Romans8:29). This vision of hope is the waiting for ouradoption, the redemption of our body.

In the Near East, during biblical times, the word

adoption had an entire different meaning than inour present Western civilization. The Westerncivilization perceives adoption as an orphan or ahomeless child being adopted by foster parents. This is not the biblical meaning or the way thepeople in the Near East understood it. In Israel andin the Near East, adoption was a public ceremonywhere a young man who had proved hisresponsibility and faithfulness over time serving hisfather was proclaimed a son. The ceremony iscalled adoption.

At the ceremony of adoption, with friends, neighbors and relatives present, the father publiclyproclaimed his matured boy his son. Thisproclamation gave the son certain privileges notenjoyed by him before this time. Firstly, the sonwas given power of attorney. He could buy or sell ordo business in his fathers name. Secondly, hereceived his inheritance, and thus was able to usethe wealth that his father had provided for him. It

was his from then on and he did not need to askany question about its distribution. Thirdly, the sonwas given equality with the father.

The adoption ceremony of the Lord Jesus took placewhen John baptized Him and the Father declaredHim, His Son. Since the foundation of the earth Godpredestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christto Himself. Because of Adams transgression all

creation was subjected to futility, not willing, but by

Him who subjects it in hope of being delivered frombondage of corruption into the same liberty of thesons of God. Presently our bodies are dead to Godbecause of sin. Because of hope all creation groansand labors eagerly for the revealing of the sons ofGod together with us who have the firstfruits of theSpirit, which is the redemption of our bodies. If theSpirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwellsin us He who raised Christ from the dead willquickens our mortal bodies to God through HisSpirit who dwells in us. Thus, the Spirit of God (the

Father) brings redemption to our bodies, even themanifestation of our sonship. We are not in theflesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God (theFather) dwells in us. For as many as are led by theSpirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans8:14, KJV).

When the Son of God was glorified on the cross, Heunderwent death to the honor of God and in Hisresurrection He was adorn with luster, clothe withsplendor and glory was poured into Him. He was fullof majesty, made renowned, rendered illustriousand exalted to the highest rank, even the righthand of God. The Father has glorified Jesus withHimself, with the glory, which Jesus had with Himbefore the world was formed.

The redeemed body and glorified body is not thesame. Jesus the pattern Son is our prophecy. When Jesus was declared Son people recognized Hisappearance. When He was glorified Mary stood

outside the tomb weeping did not recognize Jesuswhen He asked her why she was weeping andwhom she was seeking because His glorified bodytook on a different shape. Once again He wasomnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. So shallwe also be at the last trumpet.

Some support sonship and others the rapture. So,which is the true vision of hope? Both are true.

According to the life of Christ, our prophecy, it is

sonship first and then the rapture at the lasttrumpet (final glorification of our bodies).

When the Father declared Jesus His Son it was alsoa prophecy of many sons that will come forth intoHis glory. The manifestation of the sons of God willbe a caught up experience to God and His throne.Whether this experience will be in the body orwhether out of the body I do not know. She bore amale Child who was to rule all nations with a rod ofiron. And her Child was caught up to God and His

throne (Revelation 12:5). These are the hundredand forty-four thousand of all the tribes of thechildren of Israel standing with the Lamb on MountZion, having His Fathers name written on theirforeheads. These are the ones who were not beingdefiled with women, for they are virgins. Whetherthe hundred and forty-four thousand is a literal orsymbolic number, I do not know.

In 1973 I had a dream which I believe was a pictureof the manifestation of the sons of God because itdid not fit the traditional teaching of the rapture. Idreamed I was in a kitchen of a house. It was nightand it was pitch dark outside. I looked through thewindow of the kitchen and I saw people, shining likegold in an oven, ascending into heaven. It is worthmentioning that the numbers of those whoascended into heaven were only a handful.

The darkness of the night symbolizes that thevision will come into fulfillment in perilous times.

The house symbolizes the house of the Lord. Beingin the kitchen of the house refer to the generalactivities with which the house of the Lord occupiedthemselves. Let me illustrate it with the followingScriptures: Now it happened as they went that Heentered a certain village; and a certain womannamed Martha welcomed Him into her house. Andshe had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesusfeet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted

put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on

immortality. So when this corruptible has put onincorruption, and this mortal has put onimmortality, then shall be brought to pass thesaying that is written: Death is swallowed up invictory. O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin,and the strength of sin is the law (1 Corinthians15:51-56).

The rapture cannot take place now. Why? Firstly, traditional rapture doctrine teaches us that at the

time of the rapture all born-again believers willmeet the Lord in the air. Then we will celebrate themarriage feast of the Lamb in heaven and then wewill return to earth to reign with the Lord for athousand years. If that is true, what about thefoolish virgins? Matthew 25 teaches us that theywill not have excess to the marriage feast. However, they will be saved as through fire. Ifanyones work is burned, he will suffer loss; but hehimself will be saved, yet as through fire (1Corinthians 3:15). The Scriptures tells us that notall those that died will be raised to rule and reignwith Christ for a thousand years most assuredlynot the foolish virgins. They will only live bodilyagain after the thousand years will be finished. AndI saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgmentwas committed to them. Then I saw the souls ofthose who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had notworshiped the beast or his image, and not receivedhis mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And

they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Butthe rest of the dead did not liveagain until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is hewho has part in the first resurrection. Over such thesecond death has no power, but they shall bepriests of God and of Christ, and shall reign withHim a thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6, emphasisadded).

The rapture of the Church will happen when the lastenemy, namely, death will be destroyed at the lasttrumpet (1 Corinthians 15). Saints may evenexperience their glorifications at different timeseach one in his own order. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. Buteachin his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterwardthose who are Christs at His coming. Then comesthe end (1 Corinthians 15:22-24a). I confess Ido not know it all. I know in part and I prophecy thelittle I know. I wish to refrain from speculation.

Speculation can lead to false hope.

False hope is misplaced hope that is not groundedin the promises of Gods word. False hope is futile, especially if it is based on human interpretation ofthe Scriptures. Such misguided hope can turnperception of hope into deception of despair. Theyhave envisioned futility and false divination, saying,Thus says the Lord! But the Lord has not sentthem; yet they hope that the word may beconfirmed(Ezekiel 13:6). How often have we heardpredictions on the times and the manner in whichthe Lord will appear?

I do not believe that the very fine details of what isgoing to happen is as important as what we aredoing with our vision of hope. Through faith youpresent your body of death as being raised fromthe dead and the members of your body thoughdead, as instruments of righteousness to God(Romans 12:1). In hope for the resurrection from

the dead you should live your life on earth as if youare in heaven. The carnal mind is by nature an unbeliever and isenmity against God. By faith you present your mindthat is enmity against God a living sacrifice as if itis alive to God by bringing every thought intocaptivity to the obedience of Christ, in hope thatall disobedience will be punished when yourobedience is fulfilled. You do it by meditating only

the Spirit where God dwells (1 Corinthians 13:13).

The foundation of faith and love in God is a divinevision of hope (Colossians 1:4-5). Faith and hopebecome closely intertwined, as are faith and trust, and faith itself is the present expression of theconfidence in future hope (Hebrews 11:1). Faithand hope produce holiness in the lives of Christians(Colossians 1:23). Faith, hope and love worktogether to mold believers into disciples (1Thessalonians 1:3).

On 24th of January 2010 my wife was praying and

asked God to increase her faith, hope and love inHim because she needs to touch the lives of othersdivinely. She asked God to give her a vision or adream. Then she fell asleep and have a dream.

In her dream she saw many Ukrainian actorsdressed in traditional war clothing of theseventeenth and eighteenth centuries as in thetime of Peter the Great. My wife is originally fromUkraine. She did not know with what play theseactors were busy at the time but saw them on twooccasions clothed in traditional war costumes. These actors were performing their acts in SouthAfrica. They acted as if they belong to the Ukrainianpeople. They were arrogant in their showing offbecause Ukraine was everything to them. Sheapproached three of these actors and they startedto joke with her asking her, What must we do tohave victory. Her precise words to them were,First you must have love, faith and hope. You musthave love and you must believe God. When she

told them this they stop laughing and joking andmaking fun of her because her answer excitedthem as they recognized the truth in her answer. One man than ask if he can spend some time withher because he loved her answer and started to likeher. She told him, No because I am a marriedwoman and must get back to my husband. Sheknew in her dream that it was a test from the devil.

  • 8/14/2019 A-05 Vision of Hope

    15/16

In this dream South Africa represents the world; the

foreign country. But God spoke in this way: that hisdescendants would dwell in a foreign land, andthat they would bring them into bondage andoppress them four hundred years (Acts 7:6,emphasis added). Ukraine is the land of their birth(new birth) which symbolizes the kingdom of Godon earth (citizenship from heaven). The Ukrainianactors (Greek: hypocrites) represented the presentstate of the church (the people of God). They act ifthey are the army of the Lord but deep inside theyknow they are not equipped for victory. Their

clothes were antique war apparel symbolizing oldwineskins and their acts are pretense and theywere not real warriors. Our whole family isprophetic. My wife represented the prophetic voicein the earth. These actors were arrogant andthought they are the army of the Lord because theyare in the family of God (they are Ukrainians). Thechurch sometimes mock Gods prophetic voice inthe earth (the actors laughed and make fun of her). These actors needed to repent to becomevictorious. It can only be done by knowing the Lordin a deep personal and intimate relationship. TheHoly Spirit emphasized, First you must have love, faith and hope. You must have love and you mustbelieve God. Faith, hope and love are the threedimensions of a relationship with God; thethree doorways into the realm of Spirit. This ishow we shall overcome. The good news is that thechurch is open enough to God to discern the truth(actors stop laughing after hearing the truth).

One of the three men then asks if he can spendsome time with my wife. It refers to someChristians that love to be close to those that knowthe voice of God instead of having their ownrelationship with the Lord. That is a trap from thedevil. Nothing can substitute a deep relationshipwith the Lord. In a relationship with the Lord, Hewill give you firsthand a vision of hope for your life. She said, I must return to my husband. She

actually told them her greatest priority is to spend

time with the Lord. For your Maker is yourhusband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and yourRedeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called theGod of the whole earth (Isaiah 54:5, emphasisadded).

To be an actor or hypocrite is to go through all theright motions without having a deep rootedrelationship with the Lord. It is void of His presenceand of His Spirit and life. It counts for very little, ifanything.
