LEARNING OBJECTIVES• Relate the epidemiology of venous thrombosis.

• Prescribe direct oral anticoagulants to appropriate patients for approved indications.

• Apply clinical and laboratory tools for the diagnosis of TTP.

• Diagnose LGL leukemia and determine appropriate treatment and therapeutic options for this illness.

• Recognize the importance of STAT3 signaling in pathogenesis of LGL Leukemia.

• Distinguish bleeding phenotypes characteristic of platelet disorders vs. coagulation defects.

• Treat for classic bleeding disorders.
