Hagerman Valley Foundation BUILDING FUND
The Hagerman Valley Foundation is seeking your help to rent or purchase a building to house a Visitor Center and consignment store and to support our job and entre-preneurship incubator efforts. We appreciate any and all help locating and moving to a new location and display rack donations.
Visitors: The Visitor Center provides free information about the Hagerman Valley and local events and encourages visitors to return to visit again.
Consignment Sales: Consignment sales provide additional income for our artists and residents. This facility will also provide a great opportunity to encourage and train budding entrepreneurs, such as our local students.
Donation Legacy: Tax deductible donations for a building acquisition will be recog-nized in and on the building and be a Lasting Legacy to the economic improvement of Hagerman Valley. We appreciate your consideration of both the Foundation’s efforts and the Valley’s needs.
Mailed Subscriptions: $24 for 12 issues

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
It continues hot and happy at the Fossil Beds. Our YCC crew will be returning to school but still helping on weekends and making some new video pieces on the park and the area. We are looking to have more on the park web pages so that visitors and schools can learn about the area before they arrive. Lesson plans and other teacher helps will be going onto those pages as well. The fossil beds may not be as impressive as some others
but the things to learn and new discover-ies are valuable all the same. We continue to highlight the science of paleontology and will be changing some of the visitor center activities so you might get a taste of the science as well.
