08:15–09:05 Creating a Wow Culture with a Multi-generational Workforce!
Amy Shoemaker, PHR, EMBA, Certified Master Coach; Director, People Growth Strategies,
Kennedy & Coe, LLC
Frustrated that your new hires aren’t willing to “pay their dues” before expecting that promotion?
Curious why your managers just want to work quietly and not be bothered with a lot of questions?
Unclear why your college graduates and tenured employees don’t respect one another?
Wondering what’s up with flex schedules, ipods at work, remote workers? Why can’t people just work 8 am – 5
pm, Monday through Friday in a civilized manner?
If these questions have puzzled, frustrated, or confused you, help is on the way! This interactive workshop will not
only answer these questions, we’ll provide real-life solutions to these situations that you can implement once you
return to work!
Most companies have either three or four generations in their workforce today. As the Traditionalists delayed their
retirement after the stock market crash of 2008 and Baby Boomers are working and living longer, we’ll see more
generations in the workforce than any other time in business. This diversity can be a real asset for our businesses, if
we know how to leverage the strengths that each generation brings to our workplace.
Unleash the potential of your multi-generational workforce and create a Wow Culture in your company!

Lori A. Wenrich, CPA, Manager, Ernst & Young Financial reporting options for privately-held companies suddenly abound. What is a company to do? This session

professionals over the future of your company’s technology? What emerging technology should you consider
investing? Is your company’s technology an advantage, or a deficit, to your future growth? This session is a
business friendly discussion of where technology is today and where it is going. Topics will include the latest updates
for your data center from Microsoft and others, as well as new smart devices, such as phones and tablets to enhance
your workforce. We will discuss the latest technology to include workstations, laptops, monitors, and much more.
