The Associate of Business (ABUS) degree at Scottsdale Community College prepares students for an upper-division program at a university business school. Students earning the ABUS can transfer 62-64 credits to the university and be halfway done with a bachelor’s degree in a business area. Program only requires two days of classes per week for 2 years. Numerous studies have shown that shorter course lengths, like 8 weeks, have increased overall student success and completion rates.

* Completion of the ABUS guarantees your acceptance at any Arizona state university and qualifies you to apply to the business school. However, it does not guarantee your acceptance to the business school. A separate application, a high GPA, and test scores may be required for university business programs. Students need a 3.0 GPA for automatic admission into ASU’s WP Carey and a minimum test score (ACT 25) for some programs.
