Unfortunately, we are still in need of 1 or 2 Room Coordinators that can take the lead and be in charge of coordinating all of these events throughout the year to ensure we will be able to have a wonderful time at these parties. It is very important to have someone who can head up this role to and keep all of these parties organized and planned out. -In alignment with our school motto, SCE, Making our Mark, we have decided to adopt Cravens Early Childhood Academy in Houston,Texas. This building has 600 pre-k and kindergarten students and approximately 250 of these students have lost their homes during Hurricane Harvey. Our school would like to reach out to these students by sending Walmart and Target gift cards to the school to help with expenses due to this devastation. If you are interested in helping with this effort, please send a gift card in by next Friday, September 15th. To learn about this school, please see their website: https://www.sheldonisd.com/Page/562

Please make sure your child has a pair of tennis shoes or sneakers to wear to Physical Education.  Because of the nature of moving, lots of activity and team sports it is safest to have appropriate footwear that are comfortable and fit your child.  Heelies, Crocs, Natives, boots, dress shoes, soccer slides and open toed sandals are not safe choices for your child.  Please contact me if you have questions.Thank you!Mrs. Grissom
