,t the opening of the period the batt<clion had replaced the 21st L@Ka Regiment on tht Kansas Line in a zone extending from DT 278356 to DT 322382. The CP l<c.s 1oC} .. ted at DT 316362.
On 3 September the b~ttalion was ordered to diaplb~€ to the Hays Lir.e, The OP was set up in the vicinity of DT 1?75408 o.nd the CP w.:.s set up at DT 312412. ·
On 13 St.ptember all unite \-tere :relit:ved by elements from the 1st Marines, Fox Company 1€ft the OP area at 21501 to act "s ·t:r,e o.dv&nce "chelan in the movement .to the reserve ar&a located o.t DT 31&19b. On 14 September the rGmaining units of 2/7 rtcohe~ the reserve area. · ·

269459 and called on friendly artillery fire which rcgietcred one direct hit on tho bunker and afforded exoellent.coverage of the area.
