Scaring some of my students in the hall way, and getting to know everyone. Ms. Lobmeyer: The weird and random questions and comments my students come up with… Mostly anything Jose Aguirre wants to ask me. Miguel Gomez: In 4th block when me and Jose always get in trouble. Pie eating

contest

In this issue, we did a “Pie Eating Contest”;

we looked around South Middle School and

selected 4 people that participated in the

contest. The seventh grade boy was Jade

Rice, and the seventh grade girl was Damaris

Medina, for the eighth grader, the boy was

Kevin Rodriguez, and the girl was Perla

Morales. The “Pie Eating Contest” was at the

Journalism class during 3rd block on May 2nd,

2013 on Thursday, the contestants had to eat

4 pies in 5 minutes, and the only rule was to

not use your hands. The first one to finish all

of the pies will be the winner for the contest,

and get a special prize from Mr. Riggs. The

winner was Kevin! The pies were like the one

under the article which was a “Cutie Cherry

Pie.”
