AIM OF THE PROGRAM :

The goal of modern esthetic rehabilitation is to design and

create a smile according to a recognized smile design approach

using appropriate minimal or non invasive bonded ceramic or

composite restorations.

BUT... what happens when the beautiful aesthetic results that

are created are short lived? WHAT IF...the veneer restorations

start breaking? WHAT would the dentist need to do to avoid

unfortunate situations like this? WHAT aspects of function are

important and what esthetic and functional goals of treatment

need to be fulfilled for the bonded restorations to stay

predictably long term?

The aim of this clinically oriented hands on seminar is to

familiarize the participant with the main practical aspects of

dealing with occlusion and function in everyday clinical practice

and with a protocol of treatment that will allow the participants

to gain predictably long term successful results in their

conventional and esthetic rehabilitations.

Dr. Selar Francis DDS, FAGD qualified in 1988 from Dental School University of Baghdad .Teaching faculty in the department of Prosthodontics in the same school 1989-1992. Earned his Doctors degree in dental science from the University of California Los Angelus 1996. Extensive post-graduate training in cosmetic, implant dentistry, and Occlusion from University of California Los Angeles, Loma Linda University Esthetic professional dental Institute , and Dawson Academy. Private practice limited to Cosmetic dentistry, Implantology and Occlusion. Fellow of American Academy of General Dentistry. Active member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. Current President and Co founder of Bulgarian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BGACD).

Dr. Dinos Kountouras BDS, MSc, PhD qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1991. He received his Master of Science degree in Prosthetic Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London. He was awarded the Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the department of Implant Dentistry of New York University. He received his PhD in Biomaterials from the University of London. He is postgraduate trained in the Dawson Academy. UK. He is the Medical Director of Esthetic Dentistry in Arrail Dental Group, China. He works in private practice in Thessaloniki, Greece with a special emphasis in aesthetic reconstructions and implant dentistry. He is the founding and Honorary President of the Hellenic Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He is Lecturer in the Department of Operative Dentistry in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr Kountouras lectures nationally and internationally in the field of Aesthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Ian Buckle BDS qualified from Liverpool University in 1985. He has over 20 years experience in general practice both in the Private sector and with the National Health Service. The first International Faculty Member of the Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Education in St. Petersburg, Florida, he is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), British Dental Association (BDA) and Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
