Celebrations front-page announcements will be limited to events and milestones in an individual’s life. Non-profi t organizations and events are welcome to promote activities inside the publication. 1. Fill out announcement forms – Forms may be picked up at The Courier or visit www.wcfcourier.com/celebrations to download and print the forms.2. Choose an announcement package.3. Provide payment – Prepayment is required for all submitted items. We accept checks, cash or credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
To be published in Sunday’s Courier, items must be at the offi ce by 5 p.m. Wednesday the week before (11 days prior to publication.) Announcements will not be taken by phone.

Larry Pruisner and Judy Men-nen were married Aug. 16, 1961, at Calvary Baptist Church, Parkersburg.
Mr. Pruisner retired from farm-ing, also was head custodian at Clarksville School for fi ve years and now works part time for Waverly Sales. Mrs. Pruisner has been a housewife and farmer’s wife and worked for six years as a cashier for Walmart.

Brad and Vickie Pruisner of Park-ersburg, Marcy and Dale Capper of Aplington and Dwight Pruis-ner of Ankeny. They have two sons, Josh and wife Laura Barnes of Bettendorf and Kyle and wife Sara Barnes of Brookfi eld, Wis. They also have three grandchildren in Bettendorf, Ryan, Emily and Hailey Barnes.

Mr. Lamb was in the sheet metal business for 41 years, during which he and his wife, Barbara, owned and operated Architectural Sheet Metal for 31 years, retiring in 2004.

Barry Morgan, formerly of Waterloo, retired June 10 at Camp Pendleton, Calif., as a sergeant major, the highest rank he can attain in the Marine Corps.
His impressive career included attending Army Ranger School, Navy Seals Training, Airborne Jumpmaster School and Reconnaissance Training, and serving as a drill instructor.
Sergeant Major Morgan’s personal decorations include the Bronze Star, Navy Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and a Combat Action Ribbon.

Yong Hui LaVelle of Korea, Bob LaVelle of Waterloo and Kent LaVelle of Waterford, Wis., along with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brown was raised in Waverly, is a graduate of Waver-ly/Shell Rock High School and was previously a Waterloo police
offi cer. Mrs. Brown was born in Waterloo, graduated from Waterloo West High School and was previously employed at the Waterloo Airport.
They have three children together, Tyler, Ashley and Brittney. Mr. Brown also has two grown children, Bobbi Jo of Des Moines and Samantha of Waterloo.

Ada Hammersland was born Aug. 12, 1921, to Harold M. and Agnes Hammersland at their farm home in Ossian. Ada married Arden Boyce on May 16, 1954. She retired from her work as a volunteer coordinator at Trinity Lutheran Church in 1986 and continued to serve as a faithful volunteer at Ascension Lutheran from 1987 until 2004. She continues to celebrate each day of life as a gift, and is thankful to the Lord for His rich blessings these 90 years.
