STARTUP PERFORMANCE

Recent Windows releases offered sleep and hibe

alternatives to shut down and startup Hibernate in particular generally brings

computer up and ready for use more quthan a cold boot

Many customers still prefer shut down

In Windows 8 there are improvements to make thshutdown/startup and restart faster
