Tardies Students must report to the front office if tardy. Students will sign the tardy log upon entering class. Please keep in mind that 3 tardies will result in an automatic detention. Absences All absences must be e-mailed to the following address: [email protected] Work can only be made up if the absence is EXCUSED. Then student has 2 days from absence to make up the work. If work is not made up within the proper timeframe, a ZERO will be given. Students can find any/all make-up work in the designated “Make-Up Work” folder in class. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain make-up work. What We Do In Class « Getting Started: Class opens with the “Daily Directions.” This includes the “Warm-up” assignment. « Daily Lesson: The teacher will present new or review information with the class. « Partner/Group Study: Students will be grouped in order to collaborate and share ideas on the content. « Independent Study: The students will move toward practicing and mastering content independently. Mathematics 1 Content: Integers, Factors & Multiples, Rational Numbers, Operations with Fractions & Decimals, Representing Ratios & Rates, Applying Ratios & Rates, Percents, Generating Equivalent Numerical and Algebraic Expressions, Equations & Relationships, Relationships in Two Variables, Area and Polygons, Distance & Area in the coordinate plane, Surface Area & Volume of Solids, Displaying, Analyzing, and Summarizing Data.
