Michael Serrecchia will be directing “Mamma Mia” and Buff Shurr of Wylie returns to stage “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” Patty Granville will be pro- ducing both shows. Musical Directors are Mark Mullino for “Mamma Mia’”and Larry Miller for “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” Sachse High School Theater teacher Joe Murdock is master carpenter for both shows. Granville said GSM has been trying to secure “Mamma Mia” for over 10 years and added that ticket sales were soaring for the show. Choreographers will be Me- gan Kelly Bates for “Mam- ma Mia” and Kelly McCain for “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” “Mamma Mia” will feature Cara Statham Serber as Donna; Claire DeJean as Sophie; Megan Bates as Rosie; Susan Metzger as Tanya; Pete Puckett as Harry; Greg Hul- lett as Sam; and David Noel as Bill. Other cast members in featured roles include: Ki- etraille Sutton; Angel Somar- riba; McKenzie Reece and Alejandro Bigio. “Mamma Mia” opens on a Greek island as single mom, Donna, is busy preparing for her daughter Sophie’s wed- ding. The fun starts as Don- na’s lifelong girlfriends arrive. What Donna does not know is that Sophie has invited three of Donna’s old boyfriends. Audiences will cheer as Don- na discovers that it is never too late to find true love. The show features 22 classic ABBA hits including “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “The Win- ner takes it All” and “Take a Chance on Me”. Performances will be at the Granville Arts Center located at 300 N. 5th St. in Garland. With help from her boyfriend Ricky (also available for adoption), Lucy has blossomed into a confident, playful pup. She loves romping and playing tug with Ricky and Rosie (also available for adoption). Lucy en- joys playing fetch and will even bring the ball back to you--at least sometimes. Lucy walks nicely on the leash. She’s an affection- ate snuggle bug/lap dog. She’s crate trained, house broken and uses a dog door. She rides nicely in the car and is quiet. Lucy will do best in a home with another dog. This lovely little lady will be a wonderful companion for a lucky person or family. Lucy is spayed, heart- worm negative and cur- rent on her vaccinations.
