PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Township Board of the Township of Arcadia will hold a special meeting on September 25, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Township Hall located at 3422 Lake Street within the Township of Arcadia, Manistee County, Michigan, and at this special meeting will hold a public hearing on a proposed amended Township budget for the April 1, 2020-March 31, 2021 fiscal year. The millage rate resulting from a new millage proposal approved by the voters August 4, 2020 proposed to be levied to support the proposed amended budget will be a subject of this public hearing, as follows: • 0.6 mills for public road maintenance and improvement Other proposed amendments of the budget for this fiscal year previously approved by the Township Board will also be a subject of this public hearing. The previously approved budget and the budget as proposed to be amended are available for public inspection and/or copying at the Township Hall. The Township Board has complete authority to establish the number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage rate to support such amended budget as may be approved by the Township Board. The Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services at the meeting to individuals with disabilities, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered, upon reasonable notice to the Township. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Township Clerk as designated below.
