Tools Required

Plug Lockout Boxes, Padlocks

Safety Glasses

Centerpunch, Power Drill, 13/32” Drill Bit

Pliers, Wrenches, Ratchet Handle, Sockets as required Installation Instructions

1. Remove and lockout main power plugs for

machine to be repaired and adjacent ma-

chines.

2. Remove existing hardware from brackets

and straighten bent/broken parts.

3. Inspect. Top of steel kickback should be

22” from the top of the pindeck. Steel

kickback should be parallel and even with

wooden kickback. There should be

approx. 3/8” gap between front end and

back end assemblies.

4. If necessary, loosen ball lift and track rail

hardware and adjust position of backend

assembly. Realign ball lift and track as

required and tighten hardware.

5. Using the repair bracket as a template,

centerpunch and drill holes in Back-End

bracket and Front-End frame.

6. Install repair brackets on both BE and FE.

For 82/90XL and later machines, wash-

ers will be necessary to shim between the

existing bracket and the repair bracket.

7. Breakage in this area can be caused by a

loose or missing Pit Mounting Bracket at

the back of the pinspotters. Check, re-

pair, or install as shown in your pinspotter

service manual.

8. Return area to operating condition, re-

move lockout boxes and test operation.
