i) Maybank Group recorded its highest ever net profit at RM8.20 billion
for FY2019, translating to a return on equity of 10.9%.

ii) As a reward to our shareholders, the Board declared for FY2019:
Interim cash dividend of 25 sen per share paid on 2 October 2019;
Final cash dividend of 39 sen per share, which the Board subsequently
reclassified as second interim cash dividend to ensure timely payout to
shareholders as the AGM date remained uncertain at the time in light of
the COVID-19 pandemic. The second interim dividend was paid fully in
cash on 6 May 2020, with quantum unchanged at 39 sen per share.

Training, capacity building and microfinancing for
poor and marginalised women weavers to attain
financial independence, as well as to revive
traditional weaving practices.
Provide farmers with mulberry tree saplings to
maintain the supply of silk thread, as an additional
source of income for marginalised communities.
