PRINCE Philip’s funeral tomor-row may have been scaled backby Covid but it will still be afitting tribute carried off withmilitary precision.

Britain’s longest-serving con-sort played an instrumental rolein the plans.

The custom-built Land Roverhe helped design to carry hiscoffin will set off at walkingpace towards St George’s Cha-pel at 2.45pm.

It will arrive at 2.53pm aheadof a national minute’s silence at3pm. At the end of a 50-minuteservice, the coffin will be low-ered into the Royal Vault — fol-lowed by The Last Post.
