AutomaticCardTrick Show the audience that you have an ordinary deck of cards. Ask for a volunteer.

1. Ask your volunteer to make 3 piles of 7 cards.

2. Ask them to pick a pile and to think of a card

from that pile.

3. Put the pile that they had chosen in between

the other 2 piles of cards.

4. Now, deal the cards one by one to make 3

piles without changing any order of the cards.

5. Pick up a pile from those three piles and ask

them if they’re card is there. If not, try the other

two piles.

6. The pile, which their card was, place that pile

between the other two piles.

7. Repeat number 4, 5, 6.

8. After you repeated those three steps, count

down the cards until the 11th and automatically

their card appears.

Location, Location, Location 1) Arrange all the hearts in their hierarchy. As shown on the right. 2)The cards have their own points. A=1 to 10=10 J=11 Q=12 K=13 3) Put the cards on the bottom of the deck. Preparation is done 4) Ask someone to pick a card. And he/she looks. 5) Put the card on top

AlesskiKilchherr

Page 5: 6-1 e book drama 2011

6) Ask for a number between 1 and 5. 7) Split the deck that many times. 8) Look at the bottom of the deck when you finished and picked it up. Don’t stare at it to long. 9) Make sure it is one of the harts. If not than just cut it until you see one. 10) Than you remember the points of the card. Points are on number 2. Ex. The Queen is 12 That means that the card they choose is the 12th card from the top. 11) Count out the cards and take the 12th card and it supposed to be their card. JumpingKings Find 4 kings in your pile and put them on the top and choose a random card with any number and put them on the top of the 4 kings. However, put the 2 red kings on the top of the black kings. Pick up 5 cards from the top pile, which contains, the random card, and the 4 kings. Hide the random card behind the kings and show them to the audience to ensure the audience that you have 4 kings and put them on the top of the pile. Pick the 4 cards from the top, which would be a 3 kings and a random card. Lay them out one by one on a table, but th0e random card should go to the right end. Put the pile with the other cards on the card on the very left, which would be the king. Say that you’re going to put the king on the bottom of the other big deck and that the king will jump to the top. Then, flip the top card from the big deck and show it to the audience, then leave the card separate with other piles, so that the audience can see it that it is a king.

Page 6: 6-1 e book drama 2011

Put the 2nd separate card on the table that you laid out on the top of the big deck. Say that it’ll jump to the bottom. The king will be there on the bottom and leave them where you left the first king that you showed to the audience. Put the 3rd separate card that you laid out and put that card facing up somewhere inside the deck. Say that it’ll jump to the top. Then, pick up the card from the top from the big deck and put them on the pile, where you put the other 2 kings. Lastly, put the 4th card that you laid out facing down somewhere in the middle of the big deck. Then, you’ll spread the card on the table and say that it’ll appear facing upwards. Ensure other people that the deck has only 4 cards and let them check the deck to know that it’s a normal deck.

Page 7: 6-1 e book drama 2011

Bobby Sharma The Awesome Cash Machine First take two cards

One of them is half the amount then the other. Next place the two cards on top of the deck and remember to place the 3 on the bottom and the 6 on the top or any other card you are

using. Now you are ready to perform!!! First you double lift (taking to cards at once) and show the card on the bottom. Make sure your audience doesn't see the second card that is on top.

Once you show your card carefully without people seeing your second card put on the top of your deck again. Once you are done putting it down take off the card without double lifting and then without showing your card slide it through the deck while you are sliding it act like you are typing in a password to

make it look interesting. You are now done. Congratulations

The Disappearing Coin Risa Iiyama

When I curse my magic on the coin it will disappear!!!! To do my trick, you will need to have- a coin, 2.5 to 5 sized paper, long sleeved clothing and a pen. (from audience)

Tell the audience that you are going to make a coin disappear, and show the paper and coin. Now, you fold the coin in to the paper. Put the coin in the middle, and fold the upper part of the paper above the coin and cover it. Then, you fold both sides of the paper away from you. When you do this, make sure that you leave space between the side of the paper and the coin, because the coin needs to have space. Finally, you fold the lower part of the paper away from you. Now, you should notice that there is a small space where the coin can slide out. Show it to the audience- you can make them touch it, but don’t show the space where the coin is going to slide through.

(your view) (from audience) (your view) (your view) (your view) Next, you hold the folded paper in you right hand. Now, talk to the audience that you are going to make the coin disappear, and while you do that, let go the coin gently with your thumb, and make the coin fall in to the sleeves of

your clothe. Be careful not to show the coin!!!!! (your view) Pretend to cast a spell on the folded paper with a pen, and show there is nothing left in the paper. You can even rip the paper to show there is nothing left!!! Now this is the end of my trick.

The Reappearing Card Trick Cause: The Magician will let the spectator choose a random card and remember it without the Magician seeing it. Then the magician will shuffle the card many times in many different ways. He cuts the deck and from the middle the card the spectator chose will reappear.

1.Let the spectator choose a card. In this case we will use a K of Diamonds.

2. Put that card on the top of the deck.

3. Shuffle the card in a way the picked card would go down to the very bottom of the deck.

4. Do the same kind of thing in the bridge form.

5. Do the same kind of thing in a different kind of shuffle.

6. Cut the deck in half and take the card at the bottom and show the spectator

Page 11: 6-1 e book drama 2011

Changing the Ace trick Material: Normal deck of card, four aces and 1 viewer (don’t really need it) Find four aces from the deck Turn over the ace of spade and put it between ace of heart and ace of diamond (ace of heart and ace of diamond have to face the same direction) Put the 3 card on the deck (The deck and the ace of spade should be facing same direction) Make a cut between ace of heart and ace of spade Take the half of the deck and put it top of the ace of heart Take again half of the deck from below ace of heart so ace of spade is on top and ace of heart is on bottom Put the ace of clover to bottom of the deck by not showing ace of heart Flip the deck over Take a half a deck that is after the ace of spade and put it on top of ace of clover so the ace of diamond is now top of ace of clover Turn the deck over again Spread it out Find 2 cards that is flip over ace of heart and ace of diamond and between these card there is 1card Slowly flip over It’s the ace of clover!

The Rising Card Trick

Steps 1. Let the volunteer shuffle your card.

2. Spread the card out and let them choose a card and have them

show the card to the audience.

3. Randomly split the card

and let them put the card that they chosen and have them put the card on the top of the bottom stack and on top of the stack put your pinkie to hold a break.

4. After that you explain that you are going to put a rubber band and find the card.

5. Then you shuffle the cards in a bridge shuffle and when you shuffle you know that the card they had choose is on the top

of the bottom stack so you split the card where you had your finger and shuffle. But always put the card that they had chosen on the top.

6. Put a break on the half of the cards and on the top stack put the rubber band where the chosen card is.

7. Finally you pull the rubber band and two cards will come out and remember to have

your stack faced front so that when you pull the card their card will come out at the top where everyone can see.
