Jim is a big, short-haired, tricolored, McCallum/Willie bred dog. He has loads of natural ability and power. Very strong to the head. Jim has been used in the forest and on the meadows. He has proven to handle cattle in all situations. Jim is friendly, tough and trainable.

Trip is a tri-colored, medium size, female Border Collie. She is very loving and smart. Trip has a great outrun and her drive is incredible. She has a strong heel and nose bite. Her working experience is mainly corral and medium pastures.

Trixie


Lot 3

Traditionally marked Border Collie who is all heart. She loves to work and will work all day. Trixie has great balance and knows her directions. She prefers to heel but with work will go for the head. She wants to please and loves people. Very trainable.

EZ (Easy) is 2 year-old registered slick coat female. EZ has been working with Tom Blasdell in central Oregon in the desert. EZ is a fast hand on the open range or help-ing in the corral. Ruck is a high energy, trained dog with a great personality and a strong desire to work. He is out of Jimmy Walker’s Angie by Juan Reye’s Zak. We have used Ruck on the ranch working cattle and have run him in trials this summer. He has qualifying points for the 2013 National Cattledog Associations National Finals Nursery Class. Ruck is ready to go to work on the ranch and could also have a successful career in the trial arena.

Boc is still a puppy but is well on his way to being a really good dog. His dam, Zoe, is currently the number 1 ranked dog in both National Cattledog Association Open and Nursery Classes and his sire, Odi, placed 5th in the 2012 National Finals. Boc is comfortable around stock, both sheep and cattle, and is beginning to do outruns and take flank commands. We are selling Boc only because we have 5 of his littermates in the kennel. He can be a ranch dog or a trial dog can be trained to work either sheep or cattle.

She is a short-haired B/W dog with the energy of a younger dog and confidence of an older dog without the wear and tear most dogs her age would have. She will stand nose to nose to cattle and not back down. She is stronger to the head than the heels and tends to go to the ears. This past summer she was used to exercise show lambs but is more suited to cattle. Despite her lack of working cattle everyday, she shows good cattle sense. Her formal training was 3 years ago and she has gotten more in the past month. She is a good started dog but could use more training, especially if used at competition. This dog had been lightly used most of her life and was purchased a month ago to go to her a home where she can do what she loves.

Buzz is an aggressive dog with lots of gather. He has a tremendous heel bite. He is coming along nicely in training and is ready to go to work.

Rita is a tri-color registered Border Collie. She is a dog I raised whose parents go back to Rudy Starlce and Pete Carmichael bloodlines. She is a very eager worker but does not like to go to the head. Her sister is working and doing very well on a ranch in Wyoming. Rita may be better than her. I have used her in smaller pens but she will go out on longer outruns.

Garth is a short haired, black and white registered Border Collie. Father side is Orin Barnes breeding. Mother is my breeder that goes back to Rudy Starlce and Pete Carmichael bloodlines. He is a started dog that someone can take and use. He is pretty easy go-ing. I use him in small acres moving cattle and he will also gather larger pens.
