Ihavebeenamagistratefor15yearsservingonadult,
youth and family cases. I have been Vice-Chair of
the Independent Monitoring Board at Bristol Prison. I
have served as an independent member on the Avon &
SomersetPoliceAuthority.IamLeadMemberforMajor
Crime, and on the Finance and Professional
StandardsCommittee.IchairtheBrunelBoard,whichisajoint
committeewithWiltshireinrelationtoMajorCrime
Insummary,Ihavetheabilityandexperiencetogetthings
done. And no party politics!

SupportingAvon&SomersetConstabulary,
I want you to be safe and feel safe.
AsyourPoliceandCrimeCommissioner,Iwillworkwiththe police and
local partners, such as probation, health
andlocalvoluntaryorganisationstopreventcrime,toght
crime,tofocusonprolicoffenderssothatyourhomes
and streets are safer.
Iwillputvictimsattheheartofthecriminaljusticesystem
whereyouwillbeheardandactiontaken.
Youtellmethatyourconcernsareantisocialbehaviour,
burglary and violent offences especially against women
and girls.
You will see the difference.
