Your YTB website is set up for you by YTB when you purchase your On-Line Travel Agency and become a Referring Travel Agent. You never have to touch your website to change or maintain it from that pointon unless you want to personalize it! You can “customize” your site by adding some personal commentsand pictures. Another popular change is to purchase a unique (memorable!) website name and have thisname forwarded to your YTB website. CUSTOMIZING YOUR YTB WEBSITE

There are 2 ways to customize your YTB website.1. You can add personalized pictures and comments to your site.2. You can purchase a unique website name and then forward this name to your YTB website address.

Personalizing Your WebsiteAdding personalized pictures and comments to your site is very simple. Just follow these steps:• Go to your YTB website.• Choose the link titled “Log In”.• Enter your “User ID” and your “Password”.• Choose the link titled “Edit Website”.• Start typing! (Enter any and all information you wish to appear on your site.)• Each box provided on this page specifies exactly where the typing will appear on your site.• If you wish to add a photo, save one to a file on your computer or find one that has been stored.

WRITE DOWN THE FILE/FOLDER LOCATION, and then use the tools at the bottom of the “Edit Website”page to “upload” the picture to your site.

• Don’t forget to click the “Update Personal Website” button or all of your work will be lost!

Purchase a “Unique” Domain NamePurchasing a unique domain name can be done from the Log In/Back Office section of your website. This process is totally optional and not necessary for you to successfully book travel as a Referring Travel Agent. However, there are some good reasons why people choose to use a unique domain name.The website address given to ALL new RTAs is always www.ytbnet.com/theNameYouChose. In otherwords, whatever name you choose for your website address will always have the www.ytbnet.com/surname in front of it. For some:• This more lengthy address might be hard to remember.• They wish the address were shorter and faster to write down, type, etc.• They think this will be too hard for customers to memorize.

For these reasons and more, some RTAs choose to use the services offered by one of YTB’s vendors(Genesis) found in the Log In/Back Office section of your website. To purchase and set-up your own unique domain name:• Log in to the Back Office section of your website.• Click on “Domain Names”.• Research the availability of the unique website domain name you want.• Purchase your unique domain name.• Purchase the Forwarding Service. This forwards your new unique domain name to your actual

YTB website. For example: www.gothereforless.com is “forwarded” to and opens aswww.ytbnet.com/gothereforless

• Note: You may also transfer any existing domain names that you own to Genesis for a nominal fee.

Here are examples of how a unique domain name might be useful to the RTA with the above address: • Business cards show the address: www.gothereforless.com rather than www.ytbnet.com/gothereforless • In a restaurant, the RTA can say to the server, “Visit my website at www.gothereforless.com”

instead of saying, “Visit my website at www.ytbnet.com/gothereforless” • Or, when talking to a friend on the phone, the friend only has to remember and write down

www.gothereforless.com instead of www.ytbnet.com/gothereforless

The YTB On-Line Travel Agency link is found on your opening Home Page, and is the heart and soul ofyour YTB Website. This is the spot where travel is booked, and THAT is the reason we are in business!

The On-Line Travel Agency - Booking EngineAfter clicking on the Book Travel Here logo, the front page of your On-Line Travel Agency (BookingEngine) opens and looks like this:

Search for FlightsThe flights section contains a number of useful travel tools. If you need any service associated with airline travel, this is the spot to find it. YTB PROGRAM SECTION

This is the first section that people see when they visit your website. This is the part of your site where:• The YTB business opportunity for Reps and RTAs is explained to newcomers. Just click on the

Presentations bar or the Profile link at the top of the page.• A “Join Now” link is provided for people to sign up as a YTB Referring Travel Agent and/or Rep.• A “Log In” link is provided for you to access your Back Office section (your RTA and Rep pages, tools,

forms, administrative items, etc.).• Choose the “About Us” link for information on the many benefits offered by YTB. Here you will also

find the Core Principles of our company and bios of the Executive team.• A link is provided to CUSTOMERS in order to access your “On-Line Travel Agency” section (area for

booking and researching travel).

“Join Now” SectionThis section is one of the most important on your YTB Website. It’s also easy to use! We’ve made it thatway because this is where someone will go to join YTB as a Rep. They can also purchase their On-LineTravel Agency if they choose. It is always best that YOU assist your new prospect through the process ofsigning up. If you cannot be there to do so, it’s important that you understand the steps involved. Hereis what happens AFTER you click “Join Now”:• You will be shown an “E-Sign” notice.• Read the notice in its entirety.• If you agree with the notice, check the 3 boxes at the bottom.• Click the “I Agree, Proceed to Application” button.• You will be presented with the “Independent Marketing Representative Application & Agreement”.• Fill in your Social Security number.• Fill in your: Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address.• Choose a “User ID” and fill it in. Remember, if you are also purchasing the Online On-Line Travel

Agency, then this ID will be part of your website address. So, make it short and memorable! (Example:SunnyTravel as a user ID would end up as the following website address:www.ytbnet.com/sunnytravel)

• Choose a password that you’ll remember.• Choose to purchase the YTB On-Line Travel Agency (item #101) if you want to become an RTA

(Referring Travel Agent).• Click “Process Application”.

“Presentation” SectionThis is the section devoted to presenting the YTB program (both for Reps and RTAs) in a multimediafashion. You can send your prospects here to view a dynamic presentation that highlights the travelaspects of this wonderful company.
