Youth News Zoo Trip, June 13th -We will be accompanying our children’s ministry to the Fort Worth Zoo on Tuesday, June 13th. Please sign up by Sun-day, June 11th, and get your $10 to Hutt or Erin. We will meet at the church building at 9:00 a.m. and we will be back by 4:00 p.m. Pack a lunch!

Trek, June 24th - July 1st – Sign-ups are open for Trek. The $100 deposit to insure your spot is due ASAP. I can only take a certain amount of students on this trip, so it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Mission Burleson, June 16th - Next Friday, we will meet at church building at 1:30 p.m. to head off for our service project. We will be back by 4:30 p.m. for pick-up. OUR SYMPATHY

Our sympathy to Steve Wilkerson. His wife and our member, Jean Wilkerson, passed away. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. here at the church. Our sympathy to Kay Mason and Carolyn Johnson. Their sister and our member, La Verne Boren, passed away. Her ser-vice was held last week in Oklahoma. Our sympathy to Mary Lou Rasey. Her husband and our member, Haskell Rasey, passed away last week. A family service was held on Friday.

MARRIAGE CLASS

A new 6-week marriage class, “Your Best Us” will begin on Sunday, June 25th at 9:45 a.m. in the Duplex. There are some great marital habits that empower all of us—specifically four core habits that come from the Bible that can help every couple become their best US. This class is open to all who have been married from 1 day to 50+ years. Kevin Lombard will be fa-cilitating this 6-week class.

PRE VBS WEDENSDAY SCHEUDLE Wednesday evening, June 14 all classes will meet. If you have a Bible application or a sto-ry in one of the following classrooms, you may begin setting up after class on Wednesday and through the weekend. E-100, E-101, E-102, E-103, W-105, Community Room and Chapel.

UKRAINE TEAM

The Ukraine team is leaving on June 21st and will return on July 11. They will be visiting the Church of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk and two youth camps working with over 500 children. Every child will get a set of Bibles (5) and 3 hours of class time everyday. Need prayers for strength, safety, wisdom and the ability to convey God’s word to the children and staff.

CHANGE FOR CHILDREN “Change Cans” to benefit Christian Homes and services are available at the Welcome Center. Your spare change can change lives. Take one or more of these cans and when they are filled you may return them to the Wel-come Center or the church office. The change will be sent to Christian Homes around the 1st of August.
