GAME OF THRONES TOURS -‐ IRELAND. Chris gets a real life taste of one of the most popular TV shows to grace our screens - Game
of Thrones. He'll head to Northern Ireland to Castle Ward, otherwise known as the home of
House Stark - Winterfell. To make it as a Stark he'll pick up a bow and arrow and meet
some dire wolves but the real test will be keeping his head at a real Game of Thrones
banquet.
NORTHERN IRELAND Northern Ireland is a country of fantastical landscapes, warm welcomes, dramatic history
and enduring legend, as well as being on of Europe’s hottest food destinations. Take a trip
along the coast to the Giant's Causeway, climb the Mourne Mountains and visit the Titanic
Belfast and the Walled city of Derry~Londonderry
Northern Ireland is home to more locations in Game of Thrones than anywhere in the world,
so it’s no surprise the country is attracting a huge amount of “set jetters”. Although The Iron
Throne and most interiors are located in Belfast’s Titanic studios and off limits to the public,
you can, still visit at least 14 significant film sites and take in all the scenery in between on
self-drive itineraries and a number of guided tours. For Game of Thrones itinerary ideas visit:

GAME OF THRONES FEAST AT THE CUAN A few kilometres away from Castle Ward you will find The Cuan, a family-run inn in the
village of Strangford. The guest house offers accommodation and dining options. The Game
of Thrones cast and crew have been known to stay there and owners Peter and Caroline
celebrate the show a couple of times a year with a King’s Banquet. The banquet is based the
banquet that welcomed King Robert, Queen Cersei, Joffrey and their entourage when he
made the visit North to ask Ned Stark to become his ‘King’s Hand’.
