Although F JC freshmen solved the problem of more thau one camprur by electing tv/o sêts of officers, the FJC student body election committee decided the school will have only one set of spring semester student officers. Hall announced the troup voted to hold elections on both the main and the Fresno State College cam- puses on successive days. Voting Days Hall stated students on the main campus will vote January 10 a¡d students on the tr'SC campus on January 11. Both elections ùill be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The main campus election will be in the main office and the tr'SC voting will be next to the tr'JC library. The committee a.:rnounced can- diates for 10 offlces may file petl- tfons until Decembe¡ L The com- mittee will meet December I a¡d 12 to approve or reject appllcations and will lþst the approved list of nominees the next day, when offi- "i"1 sqmpalgnlng will begfn- Ca¡didates will be introduced at a nominations assembly at 11 a.m. Januàry 5 in the trlesno Memorial Auditorium. Other nominations may be made from the floor, but Ilall saitÌ such candidates will have to secure petitions. Each nominee must have a minimum of 35 signa- tures of stud.ent body members. Revote Dates If no nominee leceives a ma- jority of votes, a revote will be held January 13 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on the man campus and from noon to 3:30 p.m. on the FSC campus. Students will vote for a presi- dent who will take over Bert Ere- man's post, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, and six rep- resentatives at large'on the student council. The dance will sta¡t at 12 noonand will last 45 minutes. The FJCdance band will play and all stu-dents are invited free of charge.
