Multiple calibrators in oneThe 5522A Multi-Product Calibrator addressesa wide calibration workload and comes withinternal and external protection features thatprotect it against damage and make it easierto transport for on-site or mobile calibration.The 5522A can also be fully automated withMET/CALPlusCalibration Management Soft-ware. It is the ideal calibrator for metrologyprofessionals who need to calibrate many dif-ferent types of electronic equipment and wanta transportable instrument that offers them ahigh return on investment.

The 5522A sources direct voltage and cur-rent, alternating voltage and current withmultiple waveforms and harmonics, twosimultaneous voltage outputs or voltage andcurrent to simulate dc and ac power withphase control, resistance, capacitance, ther-mocouples and RTDs. The 5522A can alsomeasure thermocouple temperature and pres-sure using one of 29 Fluke 700 Series pressuremodules. Two options add the capability tocalibrate oscilloscopes up to either 600 MHz

or 1.1 GHz. And the 5520A-PQ Power QualityOption enables the 5522A to calibrate powerquality instrumentation to the standards of theIEC and other regulatory agencies.

Internal circuitry offersmistake proof protectionThe 5522A provides reverse power protection,immediate output disconnection, and/orfuse protection on the output terminals forall functions. This protection is for appliedexternal voltages up to 300 V peak.

Rugged carrying caseenables safe transport andefficient onsite calibrationAn innovative carrying case accessory makesit easier than ever to calibrate outside of thecalibration laboratory, as well as inside. Theshock-mounted case features built-in handles

and wheels, enabling you to move the calibra-tor from place to place easily and safely.

The front and rear access doors are remov-able, so you can calibrate with the 5522Awhile its top, bottom and side panels remainprotectedand avoid having to completelyunpack and then re-pack the calibrator.

A redesigned front panel and ergonomiccarrying handles make it easy to transport thecalibrator short distances within the cal lab.

Phase lock makes it easy to simulate three-phase power and enables current summingfor high-current tests.

Internal circuitry plus overcurrent fusesprotect against costly damage caused byelectrical overloads accidently applied to thecalibrators input terminals.

A rugged carrying case makes it easy to doonsite calibration. The front and back panelsremove so you can use the calibrator withoutunpacking it.

An interface for Fluke 700 Series PressureModules, which are used to make precisionmeasurements to calibrate pressuretransducers and related instrumentation.Modules span various pressure ranges, aslow as 0 to 10 H

2O (0 to 2.5 kPa), or as high

as 0 to 10,000 psi (0 to 70,000 kPA).

(1000 A via the optional current coils), the9100 delivers continuously variable capaci-tance values to 40 mF and conductance valuesto 2.5 milliSiemens. It also generates digitallysynthesized and phase-locked sine, square,triangle, impulse and trapezoidal waveforms,variable amplitude pulses to 10 MHz, pulsewidths to 2 seconds, and duty cycles between0.05 % and 99.95 %.
