UNC’s  research  focus  is  the  development   of  tools  for  the  analysis  and  visualization  

of  complex,  multi-­‐dimensional,   and  multi-­‐scale   data  that  transforms  data  to  knowledge   in  support  ofdata-­‐driven   decision-­‐making  in  domains   such  as  healthcare,  business,   finance,  among  others.
