INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OFNANO-TECHNOLOGY

Nanotechnology is the engineering of functional systems at themolecular scale. This covers both current work and concepts that are moreadvanced

What is Nanotechnology?

HOW DOES NANOTECHNOLOGY WORK?

A  nanometer (nm) is one-billionth of a meter, smaller thanthe wavelength of visible light and a hundred-thousandth the width of a

human hair.

Many of the concepts that Nanotechnology presents may look impossiblenow but they may not be so far away. Nanotechnology is nearer than we canthink. The Nano storm will catch us quietly. The only difference being that it willcome in a silent subdued manner much like how we used and embraced artificialfibres over the years without knowing it & it will make a tremendous impact onour lives.
