Participants start by completing an online PRISM questionnaire and JOINING the 4thwave training portal. The next step is to complete a short personal profile which provides some key pre-joining information about each participant.

As part of the profile, the participant should share their Learning objectives and the current business challenges specifically relating to the subject matter of the training course.

Participants are able to meet and INTERACT

with their fellow trainees through the 4thWave on-line portal before the training commences.

Each participant has an option to bring their line manager into the process by sharing their action plans and desired outcomes – this ensures that each participant is supported after the training and will enable the manager to play a part in post-training implementation.

Each classroom session is highly engaging and participative. Skills, knowledge and key themes for each training course are grounded in case studies and personal learning exercises to bring the skills and the LEARNING opportunity to life.

Each participant also relates the skills of the course to their own PRISM Brain Map report. The training enables them to understand their report and how to action a personal development plan.

Each participant is encouraged to prepare business assignments and to EXPLORE new and effective ways in which desired outcomes can be acheived. – these are work-place specific activities.

In addition, behavioural change is a part of self-development, so personal action planning is achieved through 4thwave behavioural contracts. These are simple, personal commitments and methods for building greater self-awareness that will improve the application of new skills and knowledge on the job.

To be able to take positive action and APPLY new skills, people need a mechanism to enable consolidation and continuous learning. 4thwave supports and encourages people beyond the classroom and seeks to shape ‘learning behaviour’ through a suite of on-line learning tools.

These tools promote self-learning and achieving greater self awareness. The best trainer that one can have is oneself, so the suite of on-line tools promotes and encourages self learning.

This also requires the application of the business assignments and behaviourial contracts developed during the classroom training.
