Bingo 1ST & 3RD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH g 6:30 P.M Join us for Bingo in the Activities Room at the River Club. Chef’s Corner Roasted Strawberry S'mores S’mores are strawberries are a heavenly combination. Ingredients: 1 pound California strawberries, hulled and quartered 2–3 tablespoons honey 1/2 vanilla bean, seeds removed or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Marshmallows, store-bought or homemade Graham crackers For the roasted strawberries: Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. If you use a silicone mat, you can slide the berries off when they are done, right into your jar! In a large bowl, combine strawberries, honey, and vanilla bean seeds (or vanilla extract). Transfer strawberry mixture to your lined baking sheet . Once cooled, transfer roasted berries to a glass jar. Assemble s’mores: Indoor oven s’mores are a great way to enjoy the sweet camping treat we all know and love, indoors, without the need for a campfire! Yummy s’mores made in your oven, any time you want them! Heat oven to 400°F. Set oven rack in the center or top third of the oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange 12 of the graham cracker halves on the baking sheet. Place one piece of chocolate on each graham cracker. Place one marshmallow on top of each piece of chocolate. Place in the oven on the middle rack. Chef’s Corner

Roasted Strawberry S'moresS’mores are strawberries are

a heavenly combination.

Ingredients:

1 pound California strawberries,

ScrambleJuly 4

We will be hosting a 4 person shotgun

scramble on July 4 at 9 a.m. We will

have a couples flight, men’s flight and

a ladies flight. The entry fee is $10 per

person. The club is hosting a 4th of

July celebration at the River Club, but

it is not included with the tournament.

We hope that you will join us down

there following event. The sign-up

sheet is on the board in the Pro-Shop.

Bake for 3-5 minutes, or until the

marshmallows puff up and turn golden

brown on top. Keep an eye on them

so they don't burn! Remove from the

oven, drizzle with roasted berries

(at room temperature not chilled),

place the remaining graham cracker

halves on top of the marshmallows,

gently pressing.

Serve immediately! Careful,

the centers are hot!

Join us for our monthly couples event

with a 9 a.m shotgun. The sign-up

sheet will be in the golf shop.

Jacksonville Am-TourJuly 25

We will be hosting the Jacksonville

Am-Tour with a 9 a.m. shotgun.

It will be a back start, so the tee times

before 9 a.m. will not be effected (other

than catching the group on the back 9).

Any groups with normal times from

9-11:30 a.m. will either have to play

later or take that Saturday off.

Men’s and Women’sGolf Associations

Looking to play more golf? The Men’s

Golf Association and the Women’s Golf

Association are always looking for

more people to join. The MGA holds

weekend tournaments throughout the

year and has a weekly Thursday play

day event. The format of the events

change from week to week. The WGA

also holds weekend tournaments

during the year and has a weekly play

day of Tuesday. Also, we host a Ladies

9-hole play day on Wednesday morn-

ings. If you have any questions, please

feel free to contact the golf shop.

Osprey Cove has a vibrant tennis

community using the four HarTru

courts and a tennis professional

to help improve your game.

Organized tennis includes men’s

doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed

doubles multiple times per week.

We welcome newcomers with open

arms and would love for you to

join our organized tennis.

Organized tennis has coordinators

who: organize the players for the day,

collects $1 for new tennis balls,

and coordinate a social function

twice a year—what a bargain!
