The high-efficacy bulb count is based on the number of lamps or fixtures and includes both pin-based (fluorescent tubes and pin-based compacts) and standard screw-base equipment. The provision applies to indoor and outdoor spaces of all residential buildings, including accessory structures and garages.
5.Install high-efficacy lamps or fixtures (e.g., CFLs, LEDs, fluorescent) in 75% of permanent light fixtures.
