485 th Tactical Missile Wing Alumni Association Reunion St. Louis, Missouri 9 – 12 June 2016 Busch Stadium and AnheuserBusch Tour Friday, 10 June 2016, 0930 1530 The bus will depart the hotel parking lot at 0930, June 10. This itinerary includes a walking tour of Busch Stadium and a tour of AnheuserBusch Brewery. Lunch is available on own at Ballpark Village. Your first stop is a tour of Busch Stadium, home to the 2011 World Series Champions, The St. Louis Cardinals. With seating for more than 40,000 fans, this field of dreams is like no other. The design of the ballpark takes into account the beautiful skyline of downtown St. Louis, the colorful history of the Cardinals. From the classic arched openings echoing the nearby Cupples Station warehouses, to the rich warm colors of the Wainwright building, this ballpark is inspired by the traditions that St. Louisans love. The creative use of old and new materials, from brick and concrete to exposed steel and glass, creates an architectural statement that stands on its own. With its modern sensibility, the stadium is appropriate for the 21st century. Enjoy a 45minute tour of the home of St. Louis Cardinals. Lunch will be available on own at Ballpark Village, located across the street from Busch Stadium. Eateries include: Budweiser Brewhouse, Cardinal Nation, Drunken Fish, and El Birdos Cantina Next, your Destination St. Louis certified tour guide will familiarize you with the rich history of the colorful Busch family en route to the King of Beers – the AnheuserBusch Brewery. Situated in a 100acre complex with over 70 red brick structures, the Brewery buildings are known for their unique architecture and several are National Historic Landmarks. During the tour you will see the World Famous Clydesdales, the Beechwood Aging Cellar, and the Brew House.
