We were blessed with good travel, good weather, and an awesome team of people. I particularly felt God’s presence during worship, while interacting with the teens and at 70 Palms while building picnic tables. God kept us safe, kept us on task and allowed us to establish caring and loving relationships with fellow team members and teens. I personally enjoyed spending time with the teen girls when they came and did our hair and nails and the night the teens cooked us dinner. I am still amazed that we were able to accomplish building five picnic tables, pouring sidewalks, laying and grouting tile and beginning the ground work for the future basketball court, when our work force was comprised of 11 women and 3 men that were willing to work with 11 women. I miss the teens so much and all the new friendships I have made. My mission experience in Haiti helps me to reconnect with my Savior and helps me to focus on what is really important in life. It was my second trip to Haiti and I loved it so much, for so many reasons that I know that I will return to Haiti again. Sarah

We are currently filling the Sept & Nov Mission Teams

September is our next big work trip, the Deadline is June 29!We would love for you to join us!

November is filling up, the deadline for that trip is August 27!If you are wanting to join us in November, think fast!

Ministry UpdateWe are getting back into the swing of bringing teams to Haiti on a regular basis. The March team did an amazingjob finishing up work on 70 Palms. They laid the sidewalk between the cottages, finished the interior work on thecottages needed to house our present children, built 5 picnic tables for the pavilion, began preparing the groundfor the basketball court and finished up work on the chicken coop.  They were an amazing team with a strongbunch of ladies being the majority of the team members. I want to share a big THANK YOU to this team for all youdid!!!

There are only two more issues to resolve before we can move the kids into 70 Palms. The first is the well issue.Thankfully, God has provided the funds to drill the new well and we are currently working with the drilling com-pany to select the site. The second issue is consistent electricity.  The May team will be transferring the invertersystem from Hope Village to 70 Palms (Honestly, we just need Stuart in country to do this, because he seems to bethe only one who understands the current system.) Then we hope to install solar electricity.  We are very excitedabout this, because it will reduce our costs greatly for generator fuel. We are presently raising the funds for the solarunits. They will go to Haiti in the shipment we will send later this summer. One exciting benefit is that if this worksout as expected we can become a distributor for this solar company in Haiti. There are a number of non-profitsinterested in these units, but there is no one to work with them in country. This company provides solar energy de-signed for second and third world countries. We would become a distributor in country which would provide futurejobs for some of our kids!!!

There are a number of teams planning to go this year.  Plan on coming with us and being part of what God is do-ing.  Haiti is not an easy country to do ministry and it has been deeply affected by years of voodoo, poverty, ungod-ly choices and disasters, but we have a God who is bigger than any challenge we face. I look forward to meetingyou and seeing you in a land that God loves!!
