One is local in Biarritz, the other is an hour away in the heart of the Basque Country. We pray that God’s will be done. Church Planters It is normally this time of year, close to Missions Sunday, that we remember all those who step out in faith to reach new people groups, communities and countries with the Gospel through church planting. Many of our missionaries and partners are in one way or another currently involved in church planting where they are. Many are training pastors and leaders to reach new people groups, many are building up relationships in new communities to develop disciples considering their cultural context. Please continue to pray for each missionary and partner involved through 2018. 40 years since the Vumba Massacre The 23 rd of June marked 40 years since our beloved missionaries lost their lives in the Vumba tragedy, Rhodesia. Join us in praying for the families and friends who will still be affected and who still mourn. We thank God for every life surrendered to His cause. Each have impassioned Elim, as a movement, to step out in faith no matter the cost, to see people come into relationship with God. We pray for those who will be gathering in September to commemorate those we lost 40 years ago. Our Father in heaven heals, restores and makes all things new. Missions Sunday: 24 th June To mark this year’s Missions Sunday we are asking churches to raise money for the Vumba Memorial Garden, opening in September, and for the ‘A Time of Remembrance’ event for the families of those missionaries who were killed 40 years ago. Please pray that churches would be able to get behind and get involved in this project and for the organisation and planning of the garden to run smoothly. Find out more about the memorial garden and how to get involved at www.elimmissions.co.uk/vumbagarden. We will also be at Huddersfield Elim at 6:30pm on Sunday 24 th for our next ‘A Call To Mission’ event. We would love to see you there. www.elimmissions.co.uk/ACallToMission
