Objectives

Of THE ASSOCIATION

To promote the interests of the fire services installation industry in

Hong Kong and all such activities as are ancillary thereto by every

proper and lawful means.

In the best interests both of the fire services installation industry and

the community as a whole to establish, maintain and improve close

liaison and friendly cooperative relations with all governmental,

semi-government, municipal, or other local or public authorities,

manufacturers, suppliers or distributors of goods, materials and/or

services associated with the fire protection industry.

To encourage any technical or other form of education for the training

and development of efficient employees in the fire services installation

industry.

To recommend promulgate maintain and improve conditions of contract,

forms of agreements, conditions of tendering and the like, and to enter

into agreements or arrangements to these ends with registered building

contractors associations, institutes of architects and engineers or other

similar organizations, governmental, semi-governmental, municipal or

other local or public authorities.

To discuss and consider matters affecting the fire services installation

industry and its ancillaries and to collect, collate publish or cause to be

published such information relating thereto as may be calculated to be

of service to its members, and to promote the inter-change of ideas,

methods, information etc. on fire service installation contracting in Hong

Kong and other parts of the world.

To promote and encourage the acceptance of the Association

throughout Hong Kong and to do all such other things as are incidental

or conductive to the attainment of the objects and the exercise of the

powers of the Association and in the furtherance of the interests of

Hong Kong.
