Instructions to the Candidate (regarding Question Paper):

    1. Mark carefully your Roll Number, Registration Number, Question Booklet No. and the Series of the paper on the OMR Answer Sheet andsign at the appropriate place. Only one (1) OMR sheet will be provided per candidate. Write your Roll number on the Question booklet.

    2. Strictly follow the instructions given by the Centre Supervisor / Room Invigilator and those given on the Question Booklet.3. The booklet comprises 200 questions - 100 Aptitude and 100 Discipline (i.e. Chemical/Civil/Electrical/Electronics / Instrumentation /   Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ HR & Welfare/Finance&Accounts/Corporate Communications), all compulsory. All

questions carry equal marks. Aptitude and technical questions are mixed and printed. A candidate needs to secure minimum 50%marks separately in both aptitude and technical (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories) for getting qualified.

    4. The candidates must check that the Question Booklet has 200 questions with multiple choice answers. If any discrepancy is found,  immediately report to the Invigilator for change of Question Booklet.5. Each objective question is followed by four responses. Your task is to choose the correct response and mark your response on the OMR

Answer Sheet and NOT on the Question Booklet6. Completely darken the Oval so that the alphabet inside the oval is not visible. Darken ONLY ONE OVAL for each answer as shown in the

example below. The CORRECT method and the WRONG method of darkening the Ovals on the OMR sheet are given below:

7 Please mark the right responses ONLY with a Blue/Black ball point pen (and not Gel pen).8. All questions are COMPULSORY. There will be no NEGATIVE MARKING. Candidates have to write a paragraph on the reverse side of

the OMR answer sheet in their own handwriting as soon as the answer sheets are distributed, without which their answer sheets will be  considered invalid.

    9. In view of the tight time span, candidates may not waste their time on a question which is found to be difficult. Go on solving questions  one by one and come back to the difficult questions at the end.10. Answer Sheets will be processed by electronic means. Hence, invalidation of the Answer Sheet due to its folding/wrinkling or putting of  stray marks on it or due to any other damage to it as well as incomplete / incorrect filling of the answer sheet, will be the sole responsibility  of the Candidate. Rough work MUST NOT be done on the OMR answer sheet. Use the question booklet for rough work.11. The Admit Card and the answer sheet will have to be surrendered to the invigilator after the test. Question papers shall be retained by the  candidates.
