CALLING ALL SKEET ENTHUSIASTS!
Dear Briley Blue Goose shooters!
2021 is finally here. I think everyone was ready to say goodbye to 2020 and move on with our lives. As we get back into the swing of things we are ready for another great year of the Briley Blue Goose!
We invite all our friends back again to the Blue Goose for another fun filled Memorial Day weekend. We are planning the usual great events such as the Gosling Buckle shoot on Friday, the May Madness bracket, 12ga Bounty and Crab legs galore on Saturday evening!
If you recall at the 2020 Blue Goose we allowed groups to split and shoot as essentially two smaller groups to assist with social distancing guidelines. Club house staff were wearing masks, hand sanitizer all over the place. We all know the drill by now.
That being said, its impossible to know where we will be with all this come May of 2021, so we will just say that we will be following all Federal, State and Local guide-lines that are available at that time.
Well folks here we go! The beginning of the rest of our lives is now. Let’s make the best of it and shoot some Skeet and enjoy the company of good people.
All the best and we will see you all soon!

12GA BOUNTY OPTIONGHSC, Briley and Todd Bender have partnered up to bring you the 12ga boun-ty option. This option is designed to give A-E class shooters an opportunity to collect the cash by tying or beating skeet legend Todd Bender.
Entry Fee $15Here is how it works:
Each class is given a handicap for the 12ga event. You then will shoot your 12ga event as you normally would. After the event you add your handicap to your raw score and if you tie or beat Todd’s raw 12ga score you will double your money!
It keeps going so pay attention! If you tie or beat Todd not only to do you dou-ble your money, you are entered into a shoot-off on Saturday night against all the other qualified participants and Todd Bender for the entire cash purse.
If you are the last man or woman standing you walk away with the cash. If Todd out lasts the field and wins, the cash purse will go back to the 2020 Briley Blue Goose Junior fund. Everyone wins!

Dawn of the new era. If you knew Jess Briley you knew him as an innovator. Always had a new idea or a fix for something. It is a trait sought after by many but obtained by only a few.
At the 2021 Briley Blue Goose we are continuing the tradition of the “The Jess Briley Innovators Award”. This award is not only to keep Jess’s memory alive but to continue to help and put back into skeet by constantly improving and changing.
There will only be one award up for grabs each year and it’s not guaranteed that anyone will receive it.
The requirements to earn this prestigious award are simple.
1. One must shoot the four gun main event at the Blue Goose at which you are submitting your idea.
2. Submit a one page idea of a fun game that will improve the experience of skeet shooting or an idea to help improve skeet on a local or national level. The submission must also have an outline of steps to implement the idea.
Our selection committee will review all submissions and select a recipient. If there are no ideas submitted or none that are usable, there will not be a recipient selected for that year.
If an idea is selected that can be implemented at the Blue Goose the winners idea will be inserted into the 2021 Blue Goose program.
The winner will receive the “Jess Briley Innovators” plaque plus $1,000 cash prize and a full entry to the following years Briley Blue Goose.
A perpetual plaque will also be hung at GHSC with each winners name inscribed on it.
