Hello Everyone, Please check the NEC calendar for upcoming events and please get out there to support you sister clubs... I want to clear up any confusion regarding NEC communications. There seems to be a misconception that statements made by any of our board members constitutes acceptance and an endorsement by the NEC and is done on behalf of the NEC. There are specific avenues that the NEC uses to communicate information: 1.) the NEC newsletter, 2.) the NEC social media outlets like Facebook, 3.) specific emails by the Corresponding Secretary, 4.) emails from the office of the NEC President. Occasionally you will see emails coming from various committee chairs; on the Convention as an example. These communications are authorized and must follow a set of guidelines. Anything else is to be considered a personal correspondence on behalf of the board member and treated as such. If any NEC member has an issue with a communication or perceived communication from the NEC, they should be contacting the NEC President ([email protected]). I am and have asked the NEC board members to qualify the information they send out and expressed opinions as being their own unless specifically authorized by the NEC. Board members also have an opportunity and responsibility to express themselves at the appropriate time and place. I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, enjoy the time with your families... Clubs: please ensure that Barb Romeo gets the updates for the contact list if your club has held elections. Please check the NEC calendar for upcoming shows/auctions and make sure to send Barb Romeo information/fliers on your club events. Don't forget to get out there and support our sister clubs, you'll have a great time doing it....
